Relaxed atmosphere, fun, unpretentious, good food and they know how to serve a beer in a very clean glass. Don't let the vinyl booths and picnic benches in the parking lot fool you. The Hangar knows how to treat their customers and without the pretentious looks that can often be found at some dining establishments in the area. The crowd is a mixed bag of working class, artists and business (both corporate and independent). All in all, you can really unwind at this place and the food is solid. you'll love it.
It was a pretty cool spot! Loved the outside dining and service. However, finding parking was a headache and only 1 restroom for womens! I mean, come on... other than that, still recommend to visit and have drinks sometime..
We drove by this place and we saw the airplane on the roof and we finally made it there we went for lunch on a Sunday four of us It was pretty busy they had two waitresses one was basically on the outside and she was really busy so the service kind of slow the food was good and it was a nice experience it’s just a service was a little lacking but it was busy
A South Bay icon for those "East of Sepulveda." No nonsense but the service is always on point (Brianna!) the beer is cold and I think they have one of the best small grill kitchens around. Burgers are too notch! They have kept the covid patio and it's a nice option to be able to sit outside. Protip: don't park in the smoke shop lot which is the other half of the patio.
Great food, beer, and service! Not a fan of country music but that’s what the customers want so can’t complain.
The food was good I had a Philly Cheesesteak It tasted like a Philly Cheesesteak and not some west coast version of what they think is a Philly Cheesesteak. I had forgotten my glasses and couldn't see the menu. So I asked the server if she could tell me what pilsners they had. She began by telling me about their lagers. Then she started to say something about their IPAs. I interrupted, as I didn't give a hoot about anything but pilsners. I asked if if they had Corona. They did. However my friend ordered Modelo, and I said, oh I haven't had a Modelo in awhile. The server let me know the Modelo was a better deal. Since I couldn't get an answer to the pilsner question, I thought I would make it simple and have a Modelo along with my friend.We also asked for water for our dogs. They provided us with a good size doggy water bowl of which we were very appreciative.As good as the cheesesteak was, it could have used a bit more meat. It seemed like there was a lot of bread, bell pepper, cheese and onion, and the meat was a bit sparse. I didn't pay so I couldn't say anything about prices. It seemed like a nice friendly bunch, of servers. One was very on the ball, but the other one...well...service was slow. I asked for a "To go" bag, the girl brought a dinner size box. Since I was walking with my dog, that wasn't going to work. So I asked her if she had a small bag. She said she might not have a small one but she had a regular sized one. I said ok I will take that. She said she was going to go get it. She didn't come back. When she did, it was to help another customer. I attempted to get her attention no avail. I gave up and finally walked in and got the bag myself. Usually when you give someone a "To go" box or bag, it means they want to leave. We waited forever for the check. My friend got tired of waiting. She went inside to tell them she wanted the check. I waited outside. And I waited, and waited, It was taking a long time. My friend walked out to say the check still wasn't ready!Granted the servers are working the bar and the food. They are going inside and outside. But it wasn't terribly busy and there were at least 3 servers and a bar back. In defense of the one server who brought the doggy bowl, I believe she had gone on a break not long after bringing the water. Because she was just walking back in as we were still waiting on the check.They were all friendly. And maybe it was just an off day. I just know that waiting that long for service is unacceptable. I will however give it another try just in case it was one of those days...
Small place and parking is severely limited but on the other hand excellent food and they probably have the beers you want to drink I like the place. ?
Pretty cheap beer for the area, great indoor and outdoor seating, and a fun vibe. They also have what looked like some good eats, but I didn't try any myself.Definitely recommend for drinks and sports, you'll be way better off here than BWW!
Love this place! Best breakfast I've had.. everything good. The Breakfast tacos is what I recommend with flour tortillas & avocado... but damn good service here as well. I keep coming back
Great service with a smile, food, cold beers on tap and in bottles. Going back for sure.
