The sushi here is delicious and overall a great experience. Probably the best sushi we've had in the United States. Especially when you consider the price. We had an hour wait and that was fine. The service was pretty quick once we were seated. My boyfriend ordered the Nozawa Trust Me course and I ordered the Don't Think Just Eat option. Mine was not worth the extra difference in price. There were a few variations in fish but only one additional plate of Nigiri. So stick with their cheaper options! But seriously, we loved the food!

If you want a fancy authentic sushi restaurant, Sugarfish is not for you. However if you want a casual, yet good and authentic sushi joint, Sugarfish is for you. The menu is simply straightforward and for lunch sets, there are three options - "Trust Me", "Trust Me lite" and "Nozawa Trust Me". We all decided on the Nozawa Trust Me menu, and I was not disappointed. I love everything on the menu. If you are still hungry afterward, there is an a a la carte menu so you can order additional rolls. However, I wish miso soup will be offered at the end of the meal. It is sort of strange to have a sushi meal without miso soup. I highly recommend Sugarfish.

Wait was significantly shorter than expected. Waiting maybe 30mins before being seated. Service was excellent and the food was amazing. You can't beat of the freshness of Sugarfish's fish. A definite must try if you haven't yet.

We got the Nozawa Trust Me set menu and everything was great! No wait time at all for lunch on the weekend and service was great.

Loved it. Quality same as other locations in NYC.Great location. Wish we could’ve sat outdoors since the view also is fabulous. My go-to sushi place. The ones in NYC, because I live there. :)

To go game is on point. I did the trust me and it set up very nice to eat at home. Loved it fish quality was great. Not cheap but lots of food.

A casual place with good sushi at an affordable price! I was impressed with the quality of sushi at this place. The service could be a little better and the plating could be a little tidier, but the quality is there. The pieces were generously large. I actually wished for less rice, and even would've been OK with slightly smaller cuts of the fish. It's a very straight-forward set of nigiri pieces at this place. No fancy combination of flavors; just good traditional sushi. One thing the pieces were missing were the light brushing of soy glaze other sushi places usually do.

Great service and great sushi. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had our toddler son with us and they were helpful in getting our order quickly when he had a meltdown so we could do take out instead. It was arguably some of the best sushi we have ever had. We will absolutely be coming back.

While the food is good the service and arrogance of place is annoying. We waited three hours … yes three hours for our order. They don’t accept reservations and when you put your name in they don’t give you any info on how long it will be. It’s as if they expect you to wait on the street because they are that good … which they aren’t.

Great name and great reviews! The pictures look good and the quality of the super fresh fish is amazing. Some of these dishes melt in your mouth. Makes you wonder why other places can't provide similar quality.Def worth a stop. Worth the wait.
