The ambiance is lovely and the food was delicious. Special compliments to Cherylâs service, she was absolutely lovely and every recommendation she provided was on point. She was a highlight of the experience. We will come back very soon!!!
We celebrated our wedding anniversary with an amazing dinner at Slay. It could not have been nicer.
the egg pasta dish was bland and when they said they would come out to comp it, they ended up charging us for the replacement. poor experience
Lovely to sit outside / staff was attentive/ food very good - my only caveat was that the chicken piccata although the sauce wonderful, and the pasta side terrific - the chicken was very tough needed a sharp knife to get thru it , prehaps I should have returned it (since I was paying $$) but thatâs on me ! Otherwise it was a great experience my friend adored his pizza and the toasted ravioli was something I had never had so that was special.
Slay Italian is our favorite go-to restaurant south on Manhattan Avenue in downtown Manhattan Beach. The fresh-from-the-garden vegetables in starters and salads are bursting with flavor - we had the fig, tomato, basil burrata and it was spectacular. The staff and particularly our waiter Jeffrey, are terrific. A wonderful dinner on a balmy night at the beach.
