We did an unplanned pop-in while walking the beach and wound up spending 2 hours here and ordering spicy wings. Really flavorful habanero dip. It's one of the few dive bars left in Manhattan.
Service was great and food as well. We ordered appetizers only. Calamari is very tasty and not overcooked. We ordered the shrimp quesadilla. Omg! Amazing. The chicken “tenders” were ok, but not great imo. The view was excellent. Would go back again for sure.
Classic dive bar in Manhattan Beach. Came here on a Tuesday night around 7 and there were a few people there, but it wasn’t as crowded as it typically is on weekends (when it’s packed with people). Indoor seating only, not outdoor spots. Credit cards accepted. If you sit by the window, you can get a pretty nice sunset view. The women’s restroom is towards the front of the bar and there’s a big step in front of the toilets, while the men’s restroom is in the back left corner of the restaurant. The well tequila was smoother than I was expecting. They do have some food options if you’re feeling peckish. The atmosphere is really laidback and casual.
Try to get there whenever we visit USA. Love the place. Ss Staff are fabulous and atmosphere is great The location is perfect for a lazy afternoon having a beer and looking out over the Pacific
Minnesotans in SoCal - they gave us a beer back for the bloody when we asked. 10/10 would recommend
One of the best dive bars in the world. Beautiful views of the sunset. Great jukebox. Friendly, attentive staff. Great burgers. Lovely bar merchandise available to purchase. We wish this place was on our doorstep!
If you are within 50 miles of this place you have to come here! Great food, great drinks, great views and Dragon the bartender is probably the best anywhere, ever. Come hang out, you won't be disappointed!
You can't beat this Manhattan Beach local establishment. One of my favorite spots coming off the beach for a beer and chicken tacos or for a post MB Hometown Fair 10K run for a Spicy Bloody Merry. It is definitely a local favorite but you want to hit this one up when visiting.
Been coming here for years, 20+!! All time fave for buffalo wings, chicken tenders and epic philly cheesesteaks honestly do not compare to actual phillys Geno's if you know you know. And ofcourse glad Martin is back and cooking his magnificent burgers!!
Nice fun local Manhattan Beach “dive” bar with a very casual vibe. Best option is sticking with beer unless you want to get a little cra cra and do a round of “Fanta shots”!VictorB
