By far one of my favorite restaurants in this area. The service is always good and the food tastes fresh and great quality.I have been coming regularly for a few months and bringing friends and family to Mercado and they all love it.The menu is contemporary Mexican but the flavors are authentic, not fusion, just modern. Some of my favorite meals here are the mole enchiladas, carnitas, carne asada and the asada tacos. Their guacamole is one of the best compared to many other places I’ve eaten. They also make different agua fresca everyday and they are always delicious. This is the only place where I found calabacitas which is a zucchini dish that I love!Environment wise, music varies throughout the week and during the weekend it is mostly reggaetón and bachata sprinkled with salsa, so it could improve but the noise level is manageable and provides a fun environment during their happy.Seats are comfortable, lighting is dim, but appropriate to match the dark walls and decor. The outside patio is nicely integrated to the main restaurant through the bar, which allows a fresh breeze to flow throughout the place.Overall Mercado hasn’t disappointed and I highly recommend it.

Stopped by with a friend mid afternoon and had a couple of snacks. The mushroom dip and guacamole were terrific and the chips are divine. The servers were very friendly. What marred an otherwise perfect visit was the noisiness of being seated underneath a speaker and having to look at the menu on my phone with no reading glasses. This was extremely frustrating! Twice we asked for the music to be turned down but I never noticed a difference and it affected my conversation with my friend.

The only reason Im giving them a 2 instead of a one is because of the customer service... as far as the quality... i could have gotten better food right where i live. the presentation was better than the taste. maybe its because we we're black and they just wanted us out of there

Lively fresh-mex restaurant and bar. Excellent food, excellent service, and great happy hour specials (food AND drink)!

Exceptional food, delicious tacos, and great ambience. Highly recommended. We try to visit every few weeks when we’re in the area.

This place was an excellent little spot to grab drinks and table side guacamole. Customer service was excellent and offered personalized suggestions. My only complaint is that our guacamole lacked spice and needed just a pinch of black pepper to add a bit more flavor. But that's my personal preference. I love spicy. My drink was a little on the sweeter side but filled my taste buds with lots of flavor.

Fantastic drinks, guac, queso and salsa. Recommend getting the dip duo. Service was also great - very friendly, approachable and efficient. Entrees we’re subpar. Dishes had creativity but lacked quality. Atmosphere is good for a family, couples or group but we prefer weekdays as weekend is a little dull.

Good foodGood serviceGood valueThe ambiance is very casual.Bar area booth seating is very uncomfortable. The noise level is pretty high.Food was in front of us within 4 minutes, so it is basically a quick eat and get out

I went with a friend a few nights ago and was very surprised at this new and beautiful restaurant. Inside was absolutely beautifully designed and grest Patio with heaters . It’s like an upscale Mexican.Bistro. The HH food was excellent 10/10. The Rita’s also. Especially the hibiscus flower one. The stsff attentive and all very gracious. We will definitely be back. Good job Mercado on the great place.

Overall, this was a very interesting place. If you’re looking for traditional Mexican food, this is not the place for you. Their drink menu is limited, but the drinks did taste good. We got two different margaritas (cucumber and blood orange) and they were very tasteful. For our meal we got the carnitas tacos and the French toast. The food tasted really good, however we found plastic inside the French toast. When we told the manager about this he said “I am sorry, but this happens a lot.” This is very concerning that it happens a lot. Is there a quality control in their kitchen? What else was in our food that we missed? The manager did not seem concerned at all about this.I would not recommend this place to a group of people who want to split the check. When we asked to split the check, the waitress did not know how to do that. We then asked for the manager to do this, who argued with us over splitting it. I have never been to a place that cannot split a check.
