First impression was amazing! Chelsea was extremely helpful with food and drink suggestions and the perfect amount of conversation! We will definitely enjoy a Joey restaurant if we are in CA and now that we know there’s a Houston location, we will be in soon! EXCELLENT food! The Bollywood Butter Chicken is incredible! I cannot recommend it enough! Everything was the best surprise we could have stumbled upon on our visit to Manhattan Beach!
The atmosphere was very nice, The food was excellent in the Service was excellent.
We were out celebrating a birthday and received terrible service from Nia. French fries were cold so we sent it back and eventually cancelled the order because after 30 minutes we hadn’t received hot fries. Other people in the group had other issues with their food too. I also asked for a glass of water twice. Finally got it on the 3rd request. Nia didn’t even bother apologizing for her mistakes or try asking us how she could make it right. I hope she wasn’t expecting a tip.
Atmosphere was awesome. Service was quick but servers definitely seemed new. Our server Lauren had no idea what was going on and dropped a glass two separate times next to our table. She was definitely having a bad day. Food was tasty but, nothing special…very normal for an upscale chain restaurant. Good option if you don’t know where else to go!
This place is a VIBE! The food and drinks were amazing. The service was pretty good as well, especially considering with how busy it was. Trendy and on point decor topped it off along with a great view of the outside shopping area.Parking was easily accessible and convenient as well!
Loved the vibe at Joeys especially this location in Manhattan Beach. They have other at stores and restaurants and a parking garage which is always a plus in Los Angeles.Lots of outdoor seating and just overall very friendly staff. Our table wasn’t ready when we got there but they offered us a glass of sparkling white wine while we waited. We went for happy hour and they had lots of choices and food was delicious. My favorite was the seared salmon sushi and the sushi cone.I’ve been to other Joeys before so I know the rest of the menu is also really good including the lobster ravioli.
What a great new addition to Manhattan Beach!Our group of four went on a Friday night around 6:45pm without a reservation. Our wait for a table indoors was about 45 minutes. Not to bad considering the place was full to the brim both inside and out.The complimentary champagne offered by the hostess was a nice touch. And enjoyed by all.Everyone absolutely loved their main dish but I can only give a first person account on mine. The Joey Classic steak was cooked to perfection! Seasoned just perfect, and was juicy and tender though out.The fully loaded crispy mashed potatoes were absolute heaven. Such a unique take on a traditional dish. The outside was crispy and reminded me of a sort of pastry roll. But the inside was pure mashed potatoes goodness!My meal: JOEY Classic Steak (top sirloin)featuring our famous fully loaded crispy mashed potatoes, asparagus.Our waiter Elijah was amazing! Helping my friend find his perfect scotch for the evening. Helping us decide on our meals with expert advice!We will be back for sure, so many more food choices to try!Parking was simple with the new garage conveniently close by. There was even plenty of EV charging stations as well.
I’m late to writing this review! This restaurant was close to the airport LAX. I had just came from a flight and stopped by for a bite to eat with family. I went a few months ago but I loved the experience. While we waited for our table we were offered champagne. Time went by very quickly. The service was great! Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu had great recommendations. The menu was diverse there was something for everyone in my party. Fancy drinks. I can’t wait to dine here again! It’s a bit far from home OC but worth the drive. I really suggest coming to eat here if your looking to try something new. Guaranteed an eye catching dinner or a romantic date.
Great service and amazing staff! Complimentary champagne upon arrival. I am pleased the food isn’t over priced like similar upscale restaurants. Would highly recommended the JOEY Champagne 75! The crispy potatoes were interesting, it’s almost like a loaded baked potato but an egg roll (unique to say the least). Perfect for date night and/or girls night!
Great restaurant with gorgeous interior/exterior design and ambiance. We opted to sit outdoors to enjoy the sunny socal weather, ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Power Bowl and the Katsu Chicken Peanut Salad. Both excellent. Will be coming back!
