ice cream is amazing i usually get the brownie sundae. it is 3 and a half scoops…i wish they had an option for the brownie and just one scoop…very sweet. overall very good experience.
Absolutely love this spot! Always a line and the best ice cream. If you are lactose beware and order something dairy free. But if you can help it enjoy yourself I’ve cream is awesome!
The ice cream here is fantastic, and the staff are helpful and positive. The line can be slow here - a combo of customers asking for samples and some of the staff not being in hustle mode, but given the location this isn't an issue.It's a walk up and order location, with dividers for lines. Menu is prominently placed on a large sign above the ordering windows. There is plenty of common seating nearby.
I had my bonus baby with me today & he said "Ice Cream! I remember receiving pamphlet with Handel's in it.I grabbed my car keys kid on my back & a way we go.My bonus baby ran up to the window & was greeted by a lovely young lady.The lady took my baby's order "CHOCOLATE EXTRA SPRINKLES!! PLEASE !! she looked for my approval & said you got it.My baby looked back at me with excitement. The lady my our day.The customer service was great & the ice cream was amazing.
On Mother's Day my family and I noticed the constant long line while we ate a CK. So we was like "Oh we have to try it afterwards". For the price of 4 cups of this AMAZING ice cream was the price of 2 Gotta Have It from Cold Stones. This place was soo good and creamy.
Local chain ice cream stop with generous servings. Came here during the heat wave at lunch time in a group of four (how else are you supposed to cool off?) and surprisingly there was only one party ahead of us. There’s no indoor or outdoor seating but the mall has a lot of outdoor benches where you can enjoy your treat. You order at the counter, pay (credit cards accepted) and then they’ll call out your order. The girl working on Thursday was very knowledgeable about the flavors and was also working by herself - props to her for holding the fort!The single scoop was divvied up into three scoops and I was so full after eating it all. They also offer a four scoop sampler in a plastic container, which you could freeze if you don’t finish your food. The mud pie was a tad icy, but there were very generous chunks of Oreos and was very sweet (which is how I like it). You can get a waffle bowl or cone for an extra cost.Overall, it’s a kid-friendly spot and good for all ice cream lovers.
I ordered a snickers hurricane through DoorDash hoping it wouldn’t be too melted by the time it arrived at my hotel. Fortunately it was still nice and cold and awesome! I will definitely make this a pit stop whenever flying into LAX from now on ??
Warning. May suffer brain freeze from enjoyment of a delicious hurricane, or ice cream sandwich. Anytime I'm craving a nice snack while I relax outdoors I look forward to visiting Handel's. They never fall short on flavors and offer a great variety. It'll honestly be hard not to find a flavor you won't enjoy.
Fantastic Ice cream, quick turnaround, and plenty of flavors to choose from. Worth the stop and you might as well walk the plaza too.
Great Ice cream place to stop by any day !! They have many flavors ! You should always go with the 4 scoop sampler to Try 4 flavors every-time you stop by. Top Flavors are Graham Central Station(Graham cookie flavor ice cream with graham cookie ripple and honey comb chocolates) & also Banana Cream Pie(Banana Flavor Ice Cream with marshmallow ripple and sugar gem cookies) Definitely recommend if you’re around Manhattan Beach
