I love supporting the small coffee shops but it’s unfortunate when they don’t support the customer. Coffee with cream shouldn’t be mediocre at best at a coffee shop.

Great espresso! Very minimal seating and line out the door.

Really friendly staff and great coffee! If you're enjoying a beautiful beach day and are looking for a non-corporate coffee spot, this is your place. Enjoy a nitro cold brew in their cozy outdoor seating in front and enjoy that ocean breeze.

The gluten free chocolate donut and GF scone were amazing. Just pop the scone in the microwave and add a little butter and your mind will be blown.

Coffee is top-notch and avocado toast is delicious, love the thinly sliced carrots on top

I LOVED the coffee and the matcha almond scone! The staff was super friendly, the decor was on point, 10/10 would recommend!

Hit or miss baristas. Some are slow (even without lines) and don’t bother with the details. Others are great. The oven doesn’t heat their baked goods through.

Purporting “the finest Coffee, Food and Wine served in the least pretentious way” one might assume goodboybob has found a way to mitigate high prices and hire Baristas that work in customer service rather than condescension, but unfortunately the new Manhattan Beach outpost accomplishes neither.Known for unique Beans roasted by goodboybob, everything from Mexico to South America and Africa available brewed or whole Bean by the bag on New Year’s Eve, it was in monotone with eye-rolls that unmarked Pastries were described before bagging, nealy $30 exchanged for four plus an admittedly complex Cup of Coffee before leaving.Apparently a scratch Bakery, though in the case of this seatless location Pastries are likely brought in from Santa Monica or Culver City, first tastes came from a poorly-laminated Almond Berry Croissant, its $6 tab in no way supported by technique or ingredients while the $5.50 Cardamom Twist was overworked to the point of tough and not nearly so fragrant as those in Scandinavia.Faring better with homestyle Goods, the Cookie soft at its center with a crisp rim and plenty of good Chocolate, those who can overlook goodboybob’s lousy service and exorbitant cost may want to stop by for a $6.00 Cinnamon Roll that offers a bubbly open crumb and plenty of Cinnamon-Brown Sugar to balance the tangy Frosting.

Randomly went here on opening day and the coffee was excellent. One of the smoothest lattes I've ever had.

Delicious coffee, really fast and friendly service… the breakfast burrito is $$ but also huge and tasty. This will become a regular spot for us
