Just not my preference. The only item I select are the mashed potatoes. Great going down, but hang on for the after-effect.
DO NOT COME HERE DURING LUNCH TIME(12-2) DURING THE WEEK. They’re INCREDIBLY slow. Food/customer service is always really good but man, the wait is really astronomical.*Update* after waiting 30minutes in line, I was told I had to pay for each creamy cilantro I wanted. When I told the worker that was no problem, she then closed the window, opened it and offered me 1 then told me she couldn’t give me nor sell me anymore because they are only for the salads. How on earth are they going to tell me I can’t use a condiment how I see fit if I’m paying? Also, if they are 75cents each, why did she give me 1 for free but not allow me to buy any more?
This is like a regular at all your locations I have gone to. Not sure what is going on and why el pollo loco here and in Hawthorne Lawndale and Gardena all do this. This is very inconvenient when we order thru an app and expect to be done by the time promised on the app. Now here we are having to go thru a busy SLOW drive thru. We all have busy lives so it’ll be helpful if you just don’t allow the app to let us order curbside when it’s not offered. Now I’ll be late to picking up my children from school because I was hoping to get a lunch for them before I picked them up. Now this line is not just slow but long and no way I can get out. Very disappointed
Not open at 10:00 am today as stated on Google Maps and Yelp. Employee just told me they will open from 11:00 am. Not the first time open hours were not accurate for this El Pollo location.
It says the store opens at 10:00am. I went ahead to see if it was open, the door was locked. There was somebody already working and looked at me and ignored me. It took about three minutes until that person went to open and says they weren’t open. I asked him when they will be ready, and he said we don’t know yet. It is unprofessional to have a schedule and not be open and it’s supposed to be open.
I got 4 piece meal and the chicken wasn’t cooked properly, the place smelled bad and the bathroom was horrible, they need to be more clean and careful with the food and attitude
Workers were very friendly and the food was great too! Churros were delicious.
Doors locked at 6pm on a Friday. People eating inside, I assume they were employees. 2 of them just looked at us and went back to eating. No sign on the door saying dining room was closed. Drive thru was open. I'll just take my business to another location from now on.
What happened to the black beans and salsa roja??!!!! one of my favorite items and is no longer available, I was very upset when told they no longer have black beans nor salsa roja!!!
Rude staff (manager was the worst) and randomly closed three different times during posted lunchtime business hours. I give-up on ever going there again.
