Amazing and healthy food options which is atypical for such places. Shunti was amazing and so patient with us and the kids. We’ll come back!!
Sorry, no pics. I was famished so I wolfed down my yummy Turkey & Bacon Club sandwich with O.J. and chips. Fresh and delicious, but a little pricey for lunch ($23). However, I blame the crazy times we're living in for the price hike, not the restaurant. Staff was also friendly, fast and efficient, and the restaurant itself was very clean.
I specified I’d be dining in while ordering, but for some reason my food was given to me in plastic plates with plastic utensils, while other clients received their food on real plates with metal silverware. Not sure why I was treated differently. Food was mediocre at best: hard to screw up scrambled eggs, but my potatoes were inedible, so I threw them away (half my meal). My “toast” was not even toasted. Muffin was dry (and this is supposed to be a bakery?) My cappuccino took 20 minutes and was cold. I will not be coming back.
Cold rainy day and my family and I came looking for a hot meal before dropping my mom off to the airport. The coffee and soup were both cold, we all ordered the choose 2 deal. The choose 2 deal is more expensive (by about $1-2) than in San Diego. The price is not an issue but the service, food, and ambience were not up to par with San Diego locations and considering we are paying more I would like to have a similar if not better experience here in LA. I ordered a salad and the workers don’t seem to look at the lettuce before they serve it as I was served the butt of the romaine lettuce head. My dad ordered the BBLT sandwich with his deal and there was barely any bacon and he was given 2 thick end slices of tomato. No one wants the ends especially thick ends. The sandwich just looked sad honestly. The San Diego locations also use real silverware and dishes, here we were served our food in paper soup cups and given plastic flimsy spoons and forks. Disappointed and bad experience for the second time I’ve gotten to visit LA.
Simply amazing !! This was my first breakfast spot on my trip and I was blown away! The service was quick and staff was very kind and helpful!!! There was a lot of room to sit and the panini was delicious. Will be going back for sure
I suggest that Corner Bakery ensures that there are contactless capabilities of payment. The other day there was Cash Only method of payment. I inquired about Google or Apple pay and was told these processes weren't available. Hope it was only temporary.
Runny eggs. Undercooked pancakes. O toilet paper in the restroom. I used to really like CornerBakery. I expect more of a restaurant that costs $40 for 2 adults and a child, especially in Manhattan Beach.
Way better than Panera Bread could ever be. Great selection and flavor
