A great addition to Madera's breakfast options. (I didn't review their other meal entrees) The Waffle Spot restaurant was refurbished after the prior business closed. So it's friendly and familiar yet newly painted and upgraded.Fresh pancakes always seem to taste better at a restaurant. My taste buds were saying it's time for pancakes so my destination was the Waffle Spot.With a side of bacon along with good tasting coffee, I came away well-fed and satisfied.Whether you're looking for a wide selection of waffles, French Toast or pancakes, give the Waffle Spot a visit.
You know, I tried going to other big name restaurants in the area. I can honestly say they have fallen into the do not bother going. The waffle spot is with out a doubt the best down home restaurant in madera. They care about their customers. They make sure your food its done right. All with a smile. Fast and friendly. My son and I always enjoy the service and great food.
Great food, prices are decent and the staff is always great. Wish they'd open up to send dinner and not just breakfast and lunch.
TLDR You've gotta go!We drove from out of town just to try the famous Waffle Spot today and boy, it was worth it!The food is great, the atmosphere feels really good and family friendly. Service was wonderful and even though they looked very busy it didn't take long to get seated or for our meals to come.I really respect that they are family owned and operated. You just don't see much of that post covid. They also close on Sundays to give their employees a day of rest for worship and to spend family time. So much to love.
Kim (owner) was very polite and explained the history behind her restaurant. Also, their chocolate waffle was divine! My dad got the eggs benedict and loved it! Very cute restaurant layout as well. Highly recommend!
Kim(owner) has a wonderful place to get an excellent breakfast and lunch!! Great atmosphere and a courteous staff. I really like that they are closed on Sundays. We will be back!!
The food was excellent. The service was more than excellent. Our waitress, Sarah, provided very efficient, customer service oriented, timely service. She had a terrific personality, and I made certain to share our opinion of the restaurant and Sarah to the owner. I highly encourage you to visit.
