I was shown to a set, then waited for 15 minutes. Finally had to wave to 2 people to just get a drink order in. Food was all right, then waited with money on the table for 10 more minutes. Finally just walk up to pay. The server was talking to the family tables( I was by myself ) and I was not paid any mind. Not worth the money for the experience. Will not be back.

The service was goodThe food was okayI discovered a hair on my plate where my burger was, I did not bring it up to the server as he had taken his lunch I just stopped eating and we paid and left. I do not think we will be back any time soon.

If you're hungry for breakfast, please don't go here. Overpriced, small portions, guest service is terrible. We waited for over 30 minutes just to get seated, and it was in the evening and only one couple ahead of us. They walked out; we should have done the same thing. Especially after receiving our food, it was poor at best. When we we ready to leave there was no one available at the front desk to cash us out we could of just walked out without paying tab because no one was concern about taking our money but we looked YES LOOKING for an employee so we could pay and leave. Once we found an employee, we paid sadly no smile on the individuals face (must not like her job). Not even a thank you didn't even ask why we didn't eat our food. What a shame. We definitely won't be returning, and I encourage anyone else thinking of visiting this location to stay clear.

Always reliable. Really nice staff. Jeri, Kelly, and Corey just to name a few, but, all friendly. Major props to them. Today they had a waitstaff of two. They were flying around the restaurant. It was amazing to watch. Good was good. Typical IHOP fair. We will be back

Always friendly staff. But wait times for orders have been very long for as long as I can remember. Our last visit was after lunchtime rush. It still took over 30 minutes for our plates to come out.

The food and service was great!!Would love to give this place 5 stars but the restroom was really messy. Other than that everything was good.

We can all agree that durin the last 2 years people have not received the sort of service we as patrons expect when dining in either fine or local chain restaurants. After 2 years of raveling and eating at various restaurants ranging from 3, 4 and 5 stars. We stopped at IHOP in Madera on January 6, 2022. We were on our way to Merced and initially we were going to stop at Starbucks for coffee, instead, decided to stop for breakfast. We entered the restaurant and were promptly greeted by the most kind and sweet hostes followed by the same caring service we received from our waitress. I wish I could recall her name because the service was exceptional, perhaps because we were so surprised by how well staff treated is and how mind blowing that was, that it did not phase us to remember her name. I am so upset over that because she and the other staff deserve special recognition. We were not the only patrons in the restaurant who were received and served this way. Throughout our dining experience we noticed everyone who was already there before us and everyone entering the restaurants was given the same service. Thank you ladies and the bus boy for such a wonderful dining experience. Who knew IHOP would be providing such exceptional service and great breakfast as well.

We a a large group and the waitress, Kelly was fabulous! Great job! Really good pancakes!!

I went w my mom and brother and it was a lil busy but the service was really good . The same guy who took our order, seated up and brought our food out and cashed us out AND was really positive and outgoing.

A gal named Olga was our server and we had the best service. She was professional, polite, friendly, smiled while serving us. This really stood out to us for she was the only waitress serving customers, the other waitresses (a few of them) were busy with other work. When I went to the ladies room I asked (the seem to be head waitress) on duty if management was aware that (only one waitress) is waiting on all the tables 9-10? She replied, yes, that is how we do it here. Management is aware. Olga never complained and did a wonderful job but I wonder if management really knows for no corporate headquarters of IHOP would approve of paying 3-4 waitresses on duty and yet only one does all the waitressing. It not only compromises the service but the entire experience. But that's what led me to write this review on Olga for she really stood out to us, and her service was impeccable regardless of how many tablets they gave her. She seem to handle the pressure very well. Another waitress was pretty rude to her in front of customers it was just flat out unbelievable! But again Olga let it roll off her back and continued to serve ALL the tables. Customers from the other tables next to us noticed her great job too. In the end we had decent food, long wait times to be seated and left with REMEMBERING Olga's wonderful demeanor and professionalism. Not Ihop's food or anything else.
