Always a great cup of craft coffee. Not a bunch of seating indoors or out.
Super helpful baristas (shout out to Will who took in my rambling of preferences and recommended and made one of the best drinks I've ever had!), delicious food (plant powered sandwich with beyond breakfast sausage, just egg, and daiya chedder), and a chill and charming atmosphere. Philz always nails it.
Great product, good people, been going there for a couple years now. However it’s kind of loud in here, with the music and all. I can’t *H E A R N T* a thing usually.
Clean and nice people there
I usually go to Peets Coffe Los Gatos which is very close to Philz. This is my 3rd times the coffee had a bitter taste (yikesss). This time I asked my friend for a recommendation and same bitter taste again. Going back to Peet's again!!
The staff was lovely but the coffee was terrible. We even bought pound bags and something went very wrong with the roast because they are all strangely salty and just very burnt. Sad to see how the quality has gone way down at philz.
Oh man, I got a decaf that I could actually taste. So rich, and you choose what level of cream and sugar that you prefer. I saw the cartons in the back- looks like they use real cream, too. Yum!
I visited the store early morning while the store opening hours. Each and everyone in the store was so polite and good to talk to.I had the philtered soul hot coffee and banana bread and it was delicious! Will go again!
Excellent breakfast burrito this morning-my tortilla was soft and not overly crispy to the point where it is dry, and the chile filling with cheese and potato and egg was absolutely flavorful. My Philharmonic was extra sweet and creamy just the way I like it, and the guy who took my order this morning was super friendly and gave me eye contact with excellent conversation. friendly staff, great coffee and food. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is only because seating is a bit limited. :) Luckily I found a spot to study, but it was a little difficult at first. Other than that, absolutely great location. I wanted a change of scenery this morning so I drove to Los Gatos. My first time at this location. I love Philz!!
