My visit was for a private reserved company event here. The food provided (self serve tacos) was excellent! I loved their "Froze", a frozen strawberry rose wine drink, two was all I needed ha ha.
Drove here from San Jose while on a business trip in the area... Food = delicious. Area = cool... downtown Los Gatos. STAFF?? Um yeah, not so much. Even my 18% tip on a sandwich and side salad couldn't derive a pleasant greeting and god forbid a smile. Dont waste your time unless you like pretentious bar staff. Too bad.
A friend was in town on business and wanted to meet me for dinner. We both enjoy craft beer, so Loma Brewing Co. was the obvious choice. It was a little too chilly to sit outside, there weren’t any propane heaters, and the picnic tables didn’t look inviting, so we opted for the dining room.We were anxious to try their house-brewed beers and we weren’t disappointed. They always have ten or more on tap. You can choose the number of beers in a flight so he ordered three: “The Trouble with Tripels” which is a strong Belgian style ale, the unusual “Sour Sport”, which he thought had a very definite sour taste, and “Always Sunny in LG”, an Irish dry stout. I just had a glass of stout. We agreed that the stout was probably the best of the three, with the same creamy foam head as Guinness but without the heaviness. For starters, we shared the crispy fried Brussels sprouts which we thought had just the right amount of teriyaki glaze to cut the bitterness. I had the Wagyu Burger without cheese and he ordered the Roadhouse (Wagyu) Burger. Both were perfectly cooked medium-rare. The American Wagyu was more tender and juicy and not as heavy as ordinary beef. The fries were hot but not as crispy as we would have liked.Service was ok but not terrific. There was only one server for the mostly empty dining room and she seemed to disappear for long stretches of time. The biggest problem was the noise level. It was almost impossible to hold a conversation without shouting after the DJ in the bar started playing. My handy Soundprint app recorded a peak level of 90db which is deafening. (The average level for conversation should be around 70db.). We hadn’t seen one another in a long time and really wanted to talk, so we would’ve walked out if we hadn’t already ordered. In summary, this might be a good place to go with a group of friends if you’re in a partying mood and want to hang out in the bar to enjoy a couple of craft beers. From our experience, the food, service, and atmosphere were just average.
A pleasant, laid back tap room and restaurant featuring Lima's own micro-brews and, on Saturdays (like today when I went) in-house smoke brisket. They do custom flights (four to a tray but they're priced individually so if you want a fifth or sixth taster they'll just come on the side). Enjoyed their Jew Jitsu Hazy IPA the most, while their other IPAs were too hoppy for me. The Brisket Sandwich was really tasty, tender meat light smoke flavor (not overwhelming but present). The fries were nicely seasoned with salt and pepper. Plenty of seating in or out. Very friendly staff. Overall, a great place to get some beers and food with friends.
Great brews! Seating was plentiful both indoors and out. Service was good, the bartender was a little stressed with a couple large parties, but food and brew was great

Only had one beer, hazy IPA, which was yummy. Nice vibe here, music outside. I just wish prices were more prominently displayed. We thought our 2 beers were going to be $5.75 each, but sadly, paid $15 +.
Nice outside area to let the grandson run. Lots of pups to entertain him too. Burger and fries were delicious and the hubby loved his Cubano sandwich
Great beer, great service and good food for snacking while you drink.
Great beer, food was perfect and it is dog friendly. Can't ask for more. I see more Sunday afternoons here
