Low key, easy parking, really nice selection of wines. They also serve hot pasta which is new since I was last there (admittedly a long time ago!!!). Service is also very good.
Good collection of wine. They don’t serve cocktails. Our server was nice enough to explain the concept behind our food.Lots is seating and parking is easy. They do close early.
Authentic Italian experience. We quite enjoyed the 5 - meat and cheese platter and three olive sampler, plus some of their wine selection.Fun, attentive owner (somalier) and staff, although we did have to wait a bit (it was a slow, late Tuesday afternoon, with minimal staff).Overall a nice, late lunch.Note: Upcoming Tasting Event Tuesday 4/26/22 with winemakers from Italy, Greece and elsewhere. Sounds like great experience.
The server was wonderful, the food was fresh and delicious. The ambience was a little loud and cold, not a very romantic place. Don't come to this place if your in a rush or looking for a quick dinner, definitely a place that takes a while to get your orders.
Super friendly staff, place just got renovated inside. Dishes are amazing!
Decent wine selection and friendly staff. They were ready to help with wine selection and accomdated our questions. We were here for late afternoon wine tasting and it worked well for that purpose. The wine plate was a bit below our expectations but overall decent visit.
Chardonnay Wine $15.00 a glass. Terrible tasting. Meatball sandwich served on stone slab $13.00 nothing with it. Felt like I was eating on the table.Table totally unstable. Obviously many attempts to keep in from moving. Should have a permanent fix. I was one of four and had to leave early. Server was most annoyed that I wanted a separate check. I left cash.Only positive comment is there is ample parking.
Location is great and staff is very friendly. However, the food leaves much to be desired. If you care about getting good food at a good price point (for Los Gatos), this is not the place for you. Highly recommend Aldo's a little further north towards Campbell.Note, I can't comment on the wine offerings. Here's what we ordered:Piccante Crostini ($8) - the menu does say a 'Trio of Toasted baguette Crostini with toppings'. However, what we got are three tiny crostini (each no more than 4" (Height) by 1" (Width) with just barely anything on top, served on a very large charcuterie (?) board.Meatball plate ($16) - 3 meatballs with not a lot of tomato sauce. They were good BUT nothing special.Ravioli with mushrooms and Truffles ($22) - 5-6 raviolis (served once again in a large plate). You can get better ravioli at Trader joes - that's all.At this point, we had enough and decided to leave. So for ~$52, we ended up getting paltry portion sizes - if the quality of the food was exceptional, maybe that would have been ok BUT that wasn't the case either. We left still hungry and disappointed.
Excellent italian appetizers and pastas! Their Tricolore pesto Crostinis are delicious, and the Fettuccine pasta too!
Great staff, amazing wine, even better champagne and the food is perfection. The burrata is our favorite by a landslide, but we’ve also tried a handful of other yummy things. We were going so much we decided to join the wine club which has been absolutely worth it! I also love that no one ever pressured us to join.
