Food, desert, atmosphere and drinks were all amazing!!!
Amazing food and service!
Came in on a Friday afternoon for dinner and was very happy with everything. The service was absolutely wonderful! Our waiter gave us recommendations for appetizers, main courses, and wine. He was very knowledgeable! The clams and trout were my favorite dishes. Look forward to trying more items on the menu.
My spouse and I went here for a special occasion of having a break from parenting a toddler, who was spending quality time with her uncle and grandparents at the time.We ordered a couple of cocktails, an appetizer, mains, and dessert. The drinks were good and fairly priced. The jamon ibérico was good and served with fresh bread. My main was the Argentine steak, cooked medium rare. The steak was delicious with it's chimichurri sauce. The sides of mashed potatoes and spinach were unfortunately quite forgettable. I love mashed potatoes but I did not finish mine. My spouse's paella was tasty - the ride was perfectly cooked. The dessert was good too - we had chocolate cake. It could have used a scoop of vanilla ice cream. We would have paid a few dollars extra for it.Overall a positive experience. Service good, food good, price ok, parking ok, walkability not so good.
Try their sardines, absolutely to die for! Burrata, seafood paella and fries were our favorites as well. Excellent service too.
Quite a lovely place and enjoyable fusion Spanish cuisine. Ordered a papa pork chop but rather too overly cooked at certain part of the chop. Too dry to my liking but near bone area was perfectly done. Great flavour with good seasoning. Ordered the pasta and is very unique in taste : name called angry pasta! The uniquely prepared paella and very appetising. The Columbia oyster are good, love the size and brininess. You can’t miss Jamon when you come to Spanish place too! Good wine selection and enjoyable dinner!
Every time we come to the South Bay we come to ASA. I can honestly say it is a high light of our trips. It's convenient to our hotel, and an easy on, off freeway access. We usually make reservations or sit in the bar, couples are seated at a large table. The service from the hostess, to the bar staff, the wait staff, and the cleanliness staff and sometime management is the best I have experienced in this area. The menu is fluid, changes occur seasonally with drinks and dishes. The menu reflects farm to table values. The ingredients are fresh and tasty and sustainable. The wine list is extensive with a variety of offerings. Mixed drinks taste great, love the blood orange cosmo. The appetizers are just so good?. The blue cheese salad is my very favorite here , stinky cheese is my best cheese. Main courses are all good, the steak and pork chops are huge. The Duck was honestly my favorite after the trout. I love all the dishes I have tried that fit my keto dietary needs; high protien, low fat, and carbs. We always go back the ambiance, location, price, and service all add up to a great meal experience.
The food and menu were well thought out, well presented and expertly cooked. The staff were courteous and there was a good atmosphere. Unfortunately there were several issues that led to an underwhelming experience. There was an extensive wait prior to, and between, all courses which resulted in us being there for 2 hours before even receiving the desert menu. I believe that a large wedding party was adding pressure to the wait staff which was resulting in slow service, a lack of attention and longer wait times. The receipt machine was broken which also delayed payment processing. A potentially great spot which unfortunately disappointed on our visit.
Exquisite. Fresh ingredients prepared perfectly and plated beautifully. Had a refreshing rosé and started the dinner with fresh mozzarella and ricotta drizzled in olive oil and basil with a baguette on the side. Then we enjoyed croquettes in an amazing spicy tangy sauce. And topped it off with garlic shrimp. For the main course we had to go with the New York steak with organic broccoli and roasted potatoes. The service we received was excellent and the dining experience was lovely. A must try in the bay area!!
Half of the Entrees were spectacular. The fish entrees we're over done. The Duck was the best. The regular steak was second. 75.00 for a New York was a bit much!
