A nice place to grab a quick bite right off of Sunset.
This place is the real deal! Absolutely some of the freshest most flavorful food I've tasted. We got a meal deal with a whole roast chicken, two sides and pita bread. The chicken is fall off the bone, the tabouleh was fresh, colorful and well balanced, the hummus was almost whipped it was so smooth and delicious. The meal is served with the crowning glory, vinegar soaked turnips (pickled turnips) and garlic butter. This butter is HEAVENLY, we ended up going through about ten of the small little cups they serve it in. It's melt in your mouth garlic deliciousness. Highly recommended and a new favorite of ours.
Portions got smaller but more expensive. Paid almost $20 for a tri tip plate and a drink.... What you get? Huh little bit of meat, lots of salad, not one but TWO pitas so you eat both of them and don't feel hungry anymore...... Used to love this place, but the amount of meat they serve now.....forget it.
Awesome customer service!! The cashier offered her help with the menu which was of great help, it was one of my few visits to Zanku, her recommendations where exactly what I was looking for!! Thank you!! Wish I knew her name, I will definitely be back delicious food good prices, good size portion servings. Can't wait to try another item on the menu.
Classic LA fast food that lives up to its reputation. Perfectly cooked chicken, crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. Delicious hummus and pickled veggies. Get an extra garlic sauce! Pita just average but does not take away. A easy quick go to on my visits to LA.

The food is pretty amazing here and the service was A1. I strongly recommend trying this place out when you have a chance.
