Tteokbokki served in portions designed to be shared. Compact setting offers multiple heat levels (don't discount the heat levels; even extra mild packs a gradual, cumulative punch) and available add-ons (fish cakes, soondae, tempura, egg, rice balls, etc.) to satisfy cravings. There's a small parking lot but street parking might be your only choice depending on when you visit. Take out is available too, but there's something about the huge bowl you get when you dine in.Expect the food to take some time to be served after ordering; maybe 20-30 minutes, but it is worth the wait. Hot but savory (almost a smokey flavor), it has a taste that elevates it above ordinary tteokbokki.

I like the tteokbokki here, better than a lot of other places. Mild is still pretty spicy, but they warn you before you order because they know..

HUGE portions (and very affordable.) I can eat decently spicy. Their Mild was a bit too spicy for me — I’ll be getting extra mild next time.

Extra mild Yup Dduk will fulfill most people’s desire for spice, in fact it might even be too spicy! But nonetheless, ~$22 for a large tub of delicious chewy spicy rice cake and fish cake is a steal. I am always able to share this with 3-4 people and have leftovers the next day, tasting fresh again with just 3 minutes in the microwave. This has become one of my favorite LA spots, I always visit when I’m in the area!

Came here twice in 2 weeks with friends. Really yummy food. I liked the options they had for sides/to add and also the drinks they had like Yo Cool and Banana milk. We went for the Yup O both times (more fish cakes than rice cakes). Highly recommend. We also went with Mild rather than Original because it was already a bit spicy (easier to eat for a longer time). The fried spam is really good! Rice balls were decent but nothing too special (thinking of the jumbo rice ball).

Summary: Spicy, plentiful, and tasty.Review: Came here for their rice cakes, and was not disappointed. We had gotten the Yup Dduk with added ramen noodles, which could feed a group of 3. As someone who cannot handle spicy foods, even their lowest level of spice had me sweating during the meal. But the spice didn't stop myself from enjoying the deliciousness of the rice cake, fish cake, sauce, ramen, cheese and everything else. It was pretty good for the most part, but because there was so much food, I eventually got tired of eating rice cake after rice cake, so I recommend bringing a few friends or being prepared to save some as leftovers. The customer service here was also nice and friendly. Overall, it's pretty good food if you're looking to eat some rice cakes. I would come back here next time I'm craving rice cake.

We got tteokbokki with no additions and juk for ~$28 total and the three of us couldn't finish it! Great value, stayed hot well after pick up, and was the elicits- the juk especially. We got the lowest possible level of spiciness of tteokbokki, but it was still spicy, so be aware of that. Even though they were really busy the staff was very helpful and welcoming.

The food was absolutely incredible. Nothing more to say than that. Looking forward to my next visit!

We had the signature dish YUP O with deep fried spam, sausages and dumplings. It was great! It’s super spicy which I like. They have a mild version too!

Delicious food, great service and a nice experience. Good prices too. You have to at least try it.
