cute little market, has the essentials, but one less star because the produce is usually pretty subpar. it works for someone like me who is single and doesnt cook often and just needs a local market to grab a few things but if you have a lot to cook it might be hard to find good stuff depending. the people there are always very nice, however, and their liquor selection is also pretty good.
I'm a local and a long-time, loyal shopper here; definitely changed over the years but mostly the same people all along! they occasionally have screaming-good deals on random bottles of liquor; decent (if pricey) for regular groceries; produce is totally fine in a pinch; this is The Only place to buy fresh green onions and cilantro for under a buck in downtown Hollywood! us locals affectionately call it The Yucky Market. they finally got rid of the meat counter but that's probably for the best ? if you just need a couple things and don't want to deal with trader Joe's this is a totally viable option; just know if it's prepackaged, you're paying tourist prices!
It's convenient for living in the area, however, ALWAYS check the expiration dates on their inventory. I have found milk that's out of date, and I have found pre-made, single-serving salads that are also out of date.
There was also a very professional, nice and lovely staff working there.

I had no trouble finding the ingredients because everything inside was clearly labelled and classified. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to everyone. I went to this store to get supplies for my spaghetti.
I was too lazy to walk so I got in an uber! Honestly I find this market so nice! Definitely have a great wine selection you should look into!
This grocery store is top-notch! Everything you need was very easy to find. Affordable prices for any household items, groceries, meats, and fresh produce. And also, this place is very conveniently located and the parking area is very spacious. All of the staff as well are always happy and willing to assist you. I highly recommend this place to others.
