The food was VERY NASTY. I would never go there again. I ordered two Rib Tips 1lb each one without sauce. One Beef Hot Link that taste like pork. Baked beans ×2 only got one the other was sauce. Macaroni Salad x2 very nasty and gummy. I got 1 Rib Tip without sauce and I got the sauce mix. Now the beans that turned out to be sauce was mild. I got one corn that was hard still. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN MY ORDER A WASTE OF MONEY. THIS MY HONEST OPINION. AFTER STANDING A LONG LINE THE DAY BEFORE THE HOLIDAY. SMH!!!!!
List or Woody's it's cool it's just that all of the crowd and hanging out brings a lot of attention but other than that it's alright maybe they always complain about the lady behind the register but I haven't had a complaint with her so maybe she can tell different faces and so aspec how people are but other than that it's okay with me

Trash tooooo much sauce no flavor and the rice from the red beans and rice is mushy like if it was cooked with too much water. The rib tips is mostly fat . Corn muffin was hard /dry/stale. Oh and it’s cash only and they ran out of singles. I wish I could give it two thumbs down or negative 5 stars.
The food was delicious. The price was reasonable and the service was great. The cashier came to my car window, took my order and it was brought to me quickly. She was so helpful that I told her to keep the balance of the $20.00 for a tip before she even turned in the order. I would greatly recommend that if you are in L.A., near Slauso Ave, and looking for some great barbecue, so stop by. They have a location in Inglewood also. I don't really care for them location on Florence, they are too slow, food is good if you have time to wait for ot.
Great tasting rib tips, more than enough food than I can eat and the prices are reasonable…had to dress up the potato salad, kinda yucky at first. I’ll be back for more great tasting rib tips and barbecue chicken breast. Kept my change from my salad purchase ?
It's a no for me. I know this place is LA standard but I was not impressed. For the time and money it takes to get your order the food was dry and the bbq sauce seemed like mostly tomato paste. So misleading because it smells amazing even when you drive by but the actual food was the most so so bbq I've ever had.
Woody's on Slauson use to be very delicious and good service in the 80's. When I moved back to California, I couldn't wait to go to my favorite bbq place ever. January 8th,2022 was the last time I would EVER step for into Woodys. The service was awful!! ALL of the staff on that day looked to have bad attitudes, no smiles very unwelcoming. My friend and I felt like they could careless if we ere there or not. The rib tips were okay. My friend said her greens were very bland, she didn't like the red beans and rice. I felt I would have enjoyed burning the $27.32 more that I spent on the terrible service and not so good food. One star is being generous.
The long line ouside to get in is ridiculous waited 30 mins to get in side no prices on the wall menu and the awful then tge the man they have in the front is very rude rushing us to place a order them no sign placed in the widow or in the lobby about no CASh this place is no good with service forget the food
I had thee most awful customer service experience yesterday with the lady who took my phone order.Every word that came out of this woman's mouth was angry and RUUUDE. The food was good to my liking as it has been mostly for the past 20 years I've been a customer.The customer service has always been not so good but yesterday I felt verbally assaulted,(the lady who took my phone order), I should have hung up the phone and went elsewhere. I told my mom that we will not eat at this place ever again because my pride want let me spend my money at a place who allows a person like this to treat customers with soooo much disrespect to work there.
