Everything was fresh crispy and delicious and not too sweet with all the right flavors you expect!! the most crisp and delicious anf FlaVorful almond cookies in Chinatown.. Maybe all of Los Angeles.. I will be back to horde more of these.. The cream bun and the almond Florentine... the beef curry pie etc was all Top Notch! ?????
The best mango cake I’ve ever tasted! Switched from Phoenix to Wonder!
Another local Chinese bakery in LA Chinatown. They have a wide selection of baked goods (dan tat, curry puffs, and hot dog buns). I ordered the egg tart and curry puffs. I ate them the next day and they were still fresh and delicious. They also served fresh drinks (juices, tea, and boba). One other notable aspect is that they accept EBT and CalFresh for all their items. I would have definitely bought more if I didn't have a long commute back home.
Best service and taste quality on the planet earth. Thank you Christopher, Kanny, and family. FYI the Spongy cake is out of this world!! Order it for every special occasion!!
This is right in New Chinatown. A pretty standard bakery serving a variety of simple desserts and some Asian specialties.I came later in the afternoon so they were out of what I'm assuming are their more popular items such as the Egg Tart or Walnut Cookie. The pricing is very affordable for each item being a few bucks. I ended up getting the Mini Lotus Moon Cake and a Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The Mini Lotus Moon Cake was classic. Smooth interior that is similar to red bean paste, but is from lotus seeds instead. The Vietnamese Iced Coffee had the essence of a Vietnamese-style cafe, but had too much milk added for me that ended up watering it down. It still made for a good iced latte though.Overall, a decent place with straightforward desserts at an affordable price.
my go to bakery for egg tarts!the custard of the dan tat (egg tart) is more custardy than eggy.the curry pie and the chicken pie are also delicious!the light flaky crusts are addicting - especially when warmed.
Delicious Vietnamese iced coffee here.
Five ⭐️ for the mooncakes bc they have three different fillings from red bean, lotus, and egg yolks (duck eggs) and they’re very filling.
Food was super flavorful. The staff was sociable and attentive.
Fresh delicious baked goods, delicious cake.
