I love this place! The food is fresh always tasty.I get sick when I eat at "cheap chinese" places.I went here when I was on a mom & son date.Pre pandemic ?? .The place was clean, customer service was great. Now let's get to the food! ? this may sound funny but...I don't eat sweet meat? I don't eat orange chicken however I eat orange chicken from wacky wok only!! The fried rice is to die for but don't die until you eat the egg rolls. Please try this place
Soup was trash.Edit: It was definitely not the Venice location. It was the westchester location. The soup was so watered down, and had no flavor. Also, the bamboo shoots in the stir fry were the canned type that smell like poo. Hopefully they will actually take this review and improve their food. Otherwise, would not recomend!
We enjoyed the “kung pao” chicken, and steamed rice. Nothing special but we were very hungry. Friendly and fast service.
Cashier was very rude…she originally told me my order would be ready in 5 mins, I returned to the restaurant in 7mins and she told me it’ll be another 5 mins. When I questioned exactly how long it would be she told me I can cancel my order if I cannot wait. I told her that’s obvious but I’m asking for exactly when my order will be ready. She then suddenly said without checking anything “well now it’s going to be another 10 mins.” because I questioned her timing. Very rude and upsetting. She said her name was Karen, which is a total fit, but I’m not sure if that was just another lie so I’ve attached a photo. I spoke with the manager who said his name was Jonathan—She should go home with that kind of attitude no one should have to deal with negative attitudes at a restaurant. I’d never visit this place solely because of her….she should be fired and if retrained on customer service!?♂️?
Beware: They serve rice! Not entrees. I received a sliver of orange chicken and a sliver of broccoli beef. The rest of my plates were full of rice. This was my 1st time ordering and the prices are very high to receive such a small amount of food. Not going back!
This place is kind of wack. The food is not worth the price. The portions are small and the taste is just ok. I ordered 5 dishes. And for what I spent i was expecting much more. Mind you this was a delivery order and my 1st time eating this food However I don't think I will be ordering again anytime soon. I guess this place is good if you live nearby and just ordering lunch.
To see the cook grab a handful of rice from a tub of rice, and put it in a bowl to serve it made my stomach turn. When I asked why gloves were not being used I was told because of bacteria. But what about a large serving spoon? So gross And unsanitary. By far the worst I’ve seen! I could not even order any food it was so bad. And he continued to do it for each order. The cashier was very nice and apologized for the cook using his hands. Needless to say I would never eat there.
I drove 36 miles for some "New York style" chinese food. That is like saying Domino's New York Style pizza taste like new york pizza. This was some of the most disappointing chinese food i have had anywhere, in a very long time. I paid a pretty penny for what i ordered, but the quality did not match th price paid. The meat in the dishes was mostly fat (pork dish), or dry and stringy (chicken dish). I would not return there, even if it was one of those $1 chinese places.I am not sure how this place could have the reviews I saw before going. Feel free to assume my review is an anomaly and try if you want. I do not recommend this place...at all. Sorry employees. You were all very friendly. I came for the food though, and that was a fail.
I was a bit sad when I moved that I wouldn’t be able to get my favorite hot and sour soup anymore. And then I found wacky wok! Such amazing hot and sour soup especially with the pork dumplings. Can definitely tell it’s made with love!
This used to be one of my favorite Chinese spots. However, I have noticed recently that the quality has gone down. The portions are smaller and the food doesn’t taste fresh.
