LOVE their boba! the texture of it is absolutely spot on and their milk teas are not too sweet which i love :)

The house boba milk tea and taro milk tea are amazing! Less ice and 50% sugar

Friend showed me this place way back when they used real fruit. These days they use powder tea flavors. If you order when there is no line at all, make sure to say NO ICE (if that is your preference) because they will make your drinks before you even pay. I don’t recommend the popcorn chicken, it was slimy ? the shop accept cash and venmo

I absolutely love this place. I've been to a lot of boba joints but most of them are so westernized that they lose the authenticity of taste and presentation. Volcano Tea is extremely authentic and delicious. Their boba is the perfect texture and flavor, their milk teas are creamy, and their flavors are balanced without being overly sweet. The employees are friendly and there is a wide variety of payment options. 10/10 recommend.

One of my favorite cozy spots for great coffee and toast, it's always a treat when both actually taste as good as they look/sound. The overall aesthetic of the interior, food, and drinks are all so pleasing! Highly recommend on your next visit to the city. Always friendly service and quality food/drink.

I enjoy drinking Volcano Tea House Fresh Watermelon Slushy which is a Seasonal Drink. They have Many Kinds of Drink. Like Milk Tea, Freshly Brewed Teas, Teas, Ice Blended, and Specialty Drink!! The Freshly Brewed Teas is for Hot Drink and Teas is for Hot & Cold Drinks!! They also have Snacks like Fried Chicken Wings and Many Kind of Snacks. They also have Shaved-Ice!! And you can get a Stamp Card to get a Free Drink, but Stamp Card is for Drinks Only. So I recommend this place for a Nice and Refreshing Drink.

This coffee shop had great food, coffee and a nice atmosphere. I recommend the cold brew coffee, it is bold and smooth. The other specialty beverages, like the cappuccino, are excellent but are pretty small in size. It gets crowded around 10am on weekends so come before then.

Decent house milk tea! I've probably come here 20+ times since moving to LA and used to come here all the time!... but now with so many different boba shops on Sawtelle, my visits have become more seldom. That said, I always and only order their House Milk Tea. Very unique house milk taste, I usually just get 100% sweetness because it is not too overbearingly sugary, and 80% just doesn't seem like enough..Plus:+LOTS of options on menu+Covid precautions in place+house milk tea is VERY unique - unlike any other milk tea I have ever tasted+they have stamp cardsCons:-parking (well, that's Sawtelle for you)-prices have gone up over the years, but expected-CASH ONLY!!!!!! or Venmo-sometimes very long times, esp. Fridays/Saturdays.. I once waited 30+ minutes for a drink but at the time I was CRAVING Volcano and it was worth it!I have yet to try more drinks but I am one of those boring house milk tea type of people. Boba is consistently fresh & chewy. Quality of tea is good, not out of this world amazing, but solid. Will definitely be coming back again and again!

Although there are a lot of options I have to say that everyone I go here and try s variant of their milk tea it pretty much tastes the same. Their staff is pretty apathetic and unhelpful in the few times I've been there. It's ok and I'll go there for some milk tea if I'm in the area but nothing special.

Taste like a glass of cold milk. Worst boba drink I have ever had in my entire life. If people like this, then they don't know what good boba tastes like and that's unfortunate. Do NOT recommend at all.
