I have been coming here for years and I happen to enjoy the place but there are things that must be said. The customer service here sucks. The older woman cashier is rude and cold towards you. Also, some of the items are overpriced compared to other places.
They have the best lunch sandwich's in L. A CA,.Carnitas, Roast beef, balony, Ham, Pastromy, Sausage, Avocado, can be added to all by requesting it,.The best market, with the things you need in life,. Love this place,. Very friendly atmosphere,.They take Credit cards, Cash, & E.B.T, LOVE THIS PLACE REALLY, ADOLFO,Viva, Vincent's Market, ATWATER VILLAGE.
My old childhood /neighborhood.....I remember when we use to get ham/cheese sandwiches for 50cents....good ole days!!
Vince’s Market has been part of Atwater Village long before it was a village. Back to the days it was only Atwater. Locally famous for inexpensive sandwich’s that taste great. One of only two markets located in the neighborhood.
My favorite place, been coming here since I was a child. 40 yrs or more to another 40 ? Best sandwich, at a great price.
Omg!!! I love this little store new faces but same little store I remember... it's been here for years.. my friends and I would go there and order their ham and cheese sandwiches by the dozen back in the day late 80s early 90s... so damn happy to see this place going strong.. wouldn't surprise me if it became a landmark!!
Best Ham and cheese sandwiches ever, great little meat market as well.
I usually get the carnitas sandwich and it's amazing!has big chunks of lean pork and fresh tomatoes and avocado. Sometimes I get the super Mexican which is a vegetarian sandwich but I pay a little extra to get ham on it. It's the best. Quick and convenient little store for a quick lunch it also has many choices of beverages and chips
Excellent sandwiches!! The best I have had out. Even better than my 2nd fav now which is Mario's Deli in Glendale in Broadway and Glendale Blvd.
Deep in Atwater Village you'll find this 82 year old neighborhood staple tucked in between the areas unique houses and an elementary school. The market sells your usual wares, but all the way to the back of the shop is a deli where pretty much everything is under $5. There's a menu of house specials and you can also customize you're own. The quality of the meat and cheese's is nothing special, but for $3.50 I got a simple, nostalgic and filling sandwich. There's very few places in LA you can still find something like that, so it does feel like you're taking a step back in time. The shop also has a phenomenal selection of canned sodas all for under a dollar.I found this place on a list of LA's oldest operating "restaurants", and it's history, selection and value are certainly hard to beat.
