First time diner at Trejo's. He is one of my favorite actors, so, I had to try it out. I got the burrito for lunch and could not finish it! The food was really good and the staff was friendly. We went there for lunch on a trip to our Cali office. I would go back again for happy hour. If you don't know where it is, you may miss it.

I had the Baja Fish Taco, Spicy Shrimp "not that spicy but good" and the Fried Chicken taco. All the tacos were good, all ingredients fresh. Also had the Chips and Guacamole, interesting they put pistachios in the Guacamole, it was really good. I tried the hot sauce not to my liking but I also don't like chipotle peppers, I like a bit sweeter pepper hot sauce.

We walked in on a Thursday afternoon, there is only valet parking in the lot. We were sat right away. The food came out pretty quick, it was delicious. I had the 2 tacos combo and my Mom had the carnitas bowl with a side of chips and salsa. This is the second location and it was just as good as the other.

Really good food and a wide range of maybe 30 brews on tap. I tried the carne asada burrito and it was really good. My friend tried a couple of the tacos, a margarita, and was pleasantly surprised with everything. The place has a nice relaxed vibe and is more than just a tourist stop for fans of Danny Trejo.

Been here a few times with family and friends and the food is great and the atmosphere fun. Danny also stops by from time to time and sat and talked with us. What a cool dude!

We enjoyed our food enough but they didn't have everything on the menu. We wouldn't go out of our way to return.

Danny Trejo is a great actor and all around human being. He's just so cool! The restaurant space is on the larger side and located on a corner plaza that has its own tiny parking lot. Parking in that lot is valet only and $20. Good luck! The menu itself contains a lot of classics and some unique offerings like the vegan option of jackfruit. Service was quick and food came out in a timely manner. The salsa that came with the burritos is a game changer. It was very tasty! I recommend trying this place out but only if you're in the area.

I’ve lived in LA for 6 years and have never tried this place until today. I have to say, I wasn’t disappointed! The asada was really great & the carnitas meat was as well. The only thing I could say was that the cheap bagged lettuce on top of the asada & the raw pineapple on the carnitas could’ve been done better. The drinks were awesome & strong so be prepared. Our waitress even ended up giving us a free beer just because. We were so confused, but no complaints. All in all, it was a pretty great visit. Delicious, friendly & decent pricing.

Portion is good. Semi outdoor seating ensures the good air and music is good.I like this place especially the hot sauce is really unique. Ice water and tea’s glasses are a bit too small that makes the waiters busy for refill and when it is busy, it takes longer to do so.Over all, the price is fair and the food is good.

I recently visited LA and was treated to Trejo's Cantina. I had the Barbaco and the Carnitas tacos along with an Aguas Fresca. The tacos were delicious. The meat was slow cooked, tender, and flavorful. Everything was amazing and I can't wait to come back on my next trip.
