I never had such delicious rice and lamb before! Our meals were very large and absolutely delicious. The prices are also awesome! The staff is so wonderful and friendly, we will definitely be back!
Beautiful presentation on a well-lit space. Delicious and flavorful menu. Do not miss the fessenjoon; they make a vegetarian version that is extraordinary (and pairs well with rice and falafel). Small patio out front for those who prefer to eat outdoors (separated by a wall from the busy street). A short 2-minute walk from The Hammer.
Amazing and authentic Persian food nestled in a quiet area with lots of parking and outdoor seating. Service is excellent and place gets very busy in the evening.
The food was good but the service was so poor, it made the whole experience unworthy.Part of our appetizer never showed up. Our waitress never checked on us when our food arrived for us to tell her we’re missing an item. We didn’t have utensils and when we waved at a random server, they only brought us one set for two people even though we asked for two sets!! At the end, we had to wave at another server just to get the bill. Overall, super un-attentive, disoriented, and distracted servers and waitress. Wouldn’t recommend, and wouldn’t go back.
My first time in Los Angeles, last time I had food with quality and taste was in Iran! Best Persian food in Los Angeles for sure!! Make sure you get the rice and the juicy chicken! Their Baklava was so good too!!
Totally delicious food, you must try this place. I don’t know how they prepared the eggplant entree but it was the best thing I have tasted in a long time.
Oh my god! The last time i had food with this quality was back in Iran! The juicy chicken, rice and shirazi salad is so so good! I had 5 days in LA and I went to Toranj 3 times! The fava bean and dill rice was really good too! Oh and ask for lunch special menu
Update:My 4th time here and the quality of food has declined dramatically. The juicy chicken which was their flagship smelled and tasted bad. They were sooo slow in bringing us bread for our appetizer. The albaloo polo was a disaster, it was uncooked white rice with some cooked cherry inside, no sorbet. It was soo dry i left most of it. I have always taken my friends there, but last time was such a disappointment that i wont come back—————Old review:My friend and I had juicy chicken and bone in chicken with zereshk polo and really enjoyed it. It is on the pricey side, but the restaurant has a nice ambience and is on the fancy side compared the other persian places in LA.Our server Mohammad was amazing and gave great suggestions. I’ll definitely go back to try more items, especially their barg kabob.
excellent food and nice atmosphere!!!
Delicious healthy food and great service.
