I’m beyond impressed with the level of service that they provided. I shopped around to 5 different bakeries before landing on this one. They’re prices were by far the most reasonable and quality of cake and cupcakes exceeded my expectations! Communication was seamless the whole time as well. I will definitely be using them again in the future!
I’ll put it like this: it’s been two months since the wedding and we are still eating our wedding cake little by little and it’s the best thing we’ve ever had! My wife has been monitoring the size of my slices to make sure it will continue to last.In all seriousness, we were a difficult case because we wanted a vegan tier AND a vegan + gluten-free tier. We tried so many different cake shops but the vegan cakes just didn’t taste quite right, and no one could pull off vegan and gluten-free together… until we found Jamaica and Top Tier Treats. They went above and beyond for us and not only made us what we were looking for, but it was actually the best cake we’ve ever had in our lives (even compared to non-vegan options made with gluten). And I feel like that’s exactly how a wedding cake should be!The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. We took home the top layer and a little bit of the bottom tier. It was such a big hit that there was barely anything left and the whole 2nd tier was completely gone. The design was perfect. We loved it so much. We found out some guests had 3 slices! No one could believe that cake was vegan, and the vegan + gluten free tier ended up being the guests’ favorite. So that really says something about how fantastic the recipes are.On top of all that, Jamaica delivered the cake 2 hours outside of Los Angeles, assembled it herself when she arrived, and worked with our florist to make sure it was perfect.Thank you for being such a big part of our wedding, and we'll absolutely keep you in mind for future events. I feel like we're going to need to have that gluten-free vegan chocolate cake again sometime haha!
We had the best experience working with Top Tier Treats for our wedding! After sampling their cakes we were sold! Jamaica was wonderful to work with and even took care of contacting my planner and florist to make sure everything went smoothly on the day of the wedding. The cake turned out beautiful and it was delicious! Our guests LOVED the cake and we could not have asked for more!
Superb! I have a very discerning palate and deciding on a wedding cake was not easy. I had seen this pastry shop /bakery, at the time it was called Jamaica's Cakes, and made an appt to do a cake tasting. I was in love. I get all of my cakes here now. They are finely prepared using quality ingredients made with care, professionally presented and taste amazing. Even the vegan cakes can fool you. I just love Top Tier Treats! I recommend them to everyone.
My partner and I came here for a vegan cake. We picked up a red velvet cake and a coffee cake. Both items were delicious and our guests enjoyed them. Staff was nice and parking was ample.
Very high prices for bakery goods. But more importantly, owner is rather unappreciative and even hostile towards the customer. This behavior was mentioned by a few reviewers. I used to go there at least once a week. Not any more. There are a lot of friendlier and less expensive options on Pico and nearby Sawtelle.PS later added: the response from the owner speaks for itself and made my point
Whenever I am in the LA area I hit two places Bay Cities for a sandwich and Top Tier Treats for either a Pecan Bar or a Lemon Bar...who am I kidding I get both bars!
I called from over a thousand miles away in rush asking to have a cake delivered locally for a birthday! Christine was very patient to take my phone call and tried her best to find an available cake for me. She also arranged a courier and had it delivered on the birthday on time! It looks delicious and I am happy for your great service!!
First and foremost this woman is an absolute angel. They will never know how thankful I truly am for them. When my original cake order with a different company that I had booked months in advance had to cancel my order 5 days prior to the event Top Tier Treats stepped in without hesitation when many others would have said no. She went above and beyond. This cake was absolutely gorgeous and tasted just as good as it looks. I would HIGHLY recommend Top Tier Treats. Their customer service is top notch, their cakes taste amazing and are truly a work of art. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
