I have been going here for many years and the food is no longer the same (change in ownership?).I ordered the chicken ramen and egg rolls. The broth was oily and slightly thick. The chicken was served on a separate plate and looked raw. The egg rolls were still frozen inside. When asked to cook them, I got the egg rolls overcooked. The indoor seating area was dirty. Food on the floor and the tables dirty. No one of the staff cleaned the tables. We used wipes to clean the table to eat comfortably. In sum, skip this place. There are far better ramen places at the same price point.
Inside the grocery store on the first floor. Tonkatsu curry rice was great. Udon was tasty. Tempura shrimp were beautiful and delicious.
Me and my niece gave this place a try. I ordered the dumplings and my niece ordered the chicken ramen. My dumplings were soggy, bland and full of oil. Super gross. My niece gave the ramen a 2. The broth was very oily, she didn't like that the chicken was still on the bone. The chicken was very fatty. The amount of noodles was pathetic. The broths flavor was decent. I wanted to try this place and I have and will never come again. I highly recommend you find ramen elsewhere. The prices are affordable. This place also requires you to show proof of your vaccine to eat inside, but they also places to eat outside, listed though.
This place is FANTASTIC! I definitely loved my experience here. Came with a party of 6 so we did have to wait about 25 min, but it was well worth it. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our Udons. Their signature Udon options essentially taste like Italian food (alfredo pasta almost) with a Japanese spin on it. The broth is very thick and creamy.
Their udon has a pure, clean flavor, which I loved. I got the kitsune udon, and I'm pretty sure it's the best udon I've ever had. The service was great too.If you're stopping by, make sure to set aside time to check out the rest of Japantown. There's a lot to see and do around here.
Service was excellent! Wait time was less than 5 minutes for lunch on a weekday. The servers were helpful and professional. Food was more on the expensive side but the large portions make up for it. I got the nabeyaki udon which comes in a clay pot (pictured below). I wish I had tipped them more! Definitely come here if you're looking for authentic Japanese food~
It was honestly my first time trying ramen and my daughters and I absolutely loved it. Thanks to my sisters for taking us there. The service was awesome and the food delicious. We will try to go there each time we visit L.A. since we live far.
I’ve been going here for years because clanes was right up stairs but this place is super affordable, portions are great, and everything tastes great! Highly recommend to stop by. Only thing is the dining area is kind of small so just take it to go it’ll still taste great regardless!
Absolutely delicious. Loved every bite. I highly recommend that you come here and eat some food
They had a variety of food choices on the menu. The ambiance was great, very chill. The food was amazing. Would definitely recommend. Great place to have lunch with some friends.
