Way too hot inside we couldnât even eat our food
Overall it was a very nice/romantic restaurant but I would have to say the food is mediocre and over-priced.
Iâm a regular at Toca and donât feel comfortable waiting 20 minutes past my reservation time
Overall, a great experience! Such a cool space with good music, decor and vibe. The food was pricey but delicious! One of us is a vegetarian and there was plenty of options for them. The drinks were also expensive but so delicious and unique. The only thing that dampened the great experience was the wait. We had a reservation for 7:00 and after checking in at the front still had to wait about 30 mins to sit down. But other then that it was great experience!
It's a really fun place! I felt like I was at a club, not a restaurant so if you like a chill vibe, idk if this is the right place for you. I loved the food and the atmosphere though! Will definitely come here again!

The experience was bittersweet in my opinion. We had an 8:30pm reservation and we were not seated down till about 9pm. It did not make sense to have a reservation. Apart from that, the servers are kind. Good food and good vibe.
The service and food was fantastic
I had a very subpar experience. I came in on a reservation closer to the late evening and was immediately made to feel as if I could not be accommodated. I drove more than an hour and 15 minutes for date night. I experienced Los Angeles traffic and arrived 15 minutes late. There were plenty of seats in the restaurant and it was near the end of reservations so it should have been fine to seat us. We were finally seated and the waitress asked us did we have any questions. We proceeded to ask two questions and as we asked the waitress stood appearing annoyed and distracted. She took our order and brought my drink order which was to be set on fire and allowing us to enjoy the Toca Experience with the fire flame cinnamon drink. My drink did not light up and she did not continue to attempt yet sat the drink down and said âitâs not working.âShe continued to bring out our food and the presentation was no different than a barbecue served on a paper plate. The shrimp was served separate from the steak when it should have been on top of it as seen on previous Instagram post. I did not understand why the presentation was not the way that it appears on the website. I have also frequented the Arizona Toca Madera and the comparison of service and presentation is not even close. I had an amazing experience in Arizona. As the night went on we tried to enjoy the ambience. We requested a soft drink refill and that was never fulfilled. $200 + later my date and I were dissatisfied and felt like it was a wasted night. We had to ask for our check, ask for refills, we were not asked if we wanted dessert. Extreme waste of gas and time.
