Great little coffee shop in a unique space. Probably hard to find if driving but walking was easy. I got the cloud latte and my boyfriend got the nutty cloud. Both super good, if you love peanut butter definitely try the nutty cloud. If you’re looking for a strong coffee taste this isn’t it but I loved it! Extremely nice and welcoming baristas too.
Completely hidden from the street, Tilt Coffee Bar lives in a little glass house in an urban plaza between condominium buildings and a big parking down the hill. A ramp next to the shop leads up to the grass roof of the tilted coffee shop; next to the ramp is a grand stand reaching down to the lower level. Different lines create an intriguing geometry that fills the open space that surrounds the coffee shop.I revisited Tilt Coffee Bar back in 2019 and enjoyed the experiences. Two years later, the other glass house next door that used to be their indoor seating area is now closed to public. Otherwise, it still looks exactly how I remembered. Even the menu is the same. The Cloud Mocha that I had in 2019 is still their signature drink. But served in a to-go cup, it is simply not the same masterpiece as it once was in a glass. I had a Nutty Cloud the other day and it was disappointing to say the least. The terribly shaped cold cream top and hot cappuccino are clearly separated, both visually and in taste.Fortunately, when I had just a cortado or a flat white, it was still on point. What's missing to me is the small details here and there. I'm not sure what's the right word to describe the experience, it feels worn out.Original review from Dec 2019: Very friend service and great coffee. The Cloud Mocha I had was delicious.It is tucked away in DTLA, the coffee shop is tiny but there are more seatings across the walkway and it sits right next to a big stairs where people can sit down and enjoy the sunshine with a cup of coffee.
3rd space at its finest. Not your home or office but a nice outdoor environment to relax and chill while drinking really good small batch roasted coffee. The property itself is a modern apartment complex that has interesting architectural lines all around with drought tolerant landscaping aside from grass which is not trendy anymore. Very Zen

My favorite cafe in all of DTLA! Friendliest baristas that actually know what they’re doing! Outdoor seating with plants all around. Cute dog galore. Pastries, quiche, and other snacks plus other bevs in the mini fridge.
I only write reviews when I am impressed or horrified. This time, happily, I am impressed. Tilt Coffee Bar has a neat atmosphere, selling food and drink and I think plants, too. I loved all the plants outside both in the back and in the front. The owner and other employees are very friendly.
Best Macha latte and cloud latte in downtown so far I have ever found. Parking is a bit difficult but these lattes are def. worth for a bit of struggle :)
Didn’t have coffee here just wanted to put a warning that this very very populated with homeless and street vendors, just be careful and aware of your surroundingsThe Greetings sign is hidden down in a valet parking location one block down from tilt.
Upon walking towards the the coffee bar I thought to myself "oh, no- this is going to be some pretentious coffee shop with high prices", man was I wrong. The coffee shop is clean, chic, and unique. From the very get go, the ramp leading to the site was surrounded by a white hall with neon lights that immediately grabbed my attention. The hall directed to me courtyard in which the coffee shop was located- the outdoor seating was absolutely breathtaking! The shop is small, but cute and while the coffee prices were slightly high, the quality was up to par. I ordered the a hot matcha latte; this was the first time in my life it felt like I had QUALITY matcha! This place was worth every penny! Oh, and they have beautiful quiches! :)
I never write review unless something exceeds my expectations and so this coffee shop deserves the time spent on a glowing review. Best latte I’ve had !! Highly recommend…I ordered their Cloud iced latte with oat milk. Creamy, smooth and strong, not too sweet. Such a treat, and staff are friendly, shop is clean w cute outdoor area.
