Nice place and good food.
Portions were generous, service was outstanding and most importantly, food tasted amazing! Got myself the waffle breakfast which consists of the scrambled eggs, country potatoes (with bell peppersand onions) and sausages. Free refills on soft drinks as well. Definitely coming back.
Great food and service……………….
Excelente servicio, muy buena comida y el lugar magnífico
Food was great! A service was fast and friendly. The red velvet waffles with cream cheese frosting were so tasty. I have a sweet tooth & this fit the bill. My husband said though that the tres leches waffles tasted like regular waffles - so perhaps not worth the upgrade. For breakfast we came out at $30 per person and easily had no leftovers, so it's a bit pricey for a diner breakfast (so if I could give half-stars, this would be more of a 4.5)...but then again it's on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood. It's also clearly a step or two up from a "standard" run-of-the-mill diner, which probably warrants the slightly higher price.
I highly recommend this place if you want a delicious waffle with tons of options for an affordable price. I got the chocolate chip one + strawberry and it was simply perfect and not too sweet. They also have a great combo where you can have a nice breakfast combination that includes egg, protein and waffle- my friend got it and the portion was great. There was a small confusion with our order but they solved it very quickly. Also, this is a place where you order, pay and then get your food (more like a fast food chain) but they still are nice and friendly. We went Sunday at brunch time and there was a short wait but they love very quickly so don’t let that scare you. This place is a great option for an affordable, yummy and filling brunch (something that is pretty rare in LA).
We wanted something different and delicious to set us up for the day and we weren’t disappointed. I chose a lemon and blueberry waffle with fruit and turkey bacon on the side and my husband had a strawberry cheesecake waffle with sausage and hash brown on the side. We queued up outside, ordered, paid and then we’re seated and lots of options for indoor and outdoor dining. Felt friendly and very covid safe. The portions were big, but you can opt for a half waffle and set us up for our day so we didn’t need lunch.
$62.00 for a waffle with two eggs over easy and regular coffees for the two of us … OK that’s $31.00 a piece …. Place is freezing cold inside with zero atmosphere . Do your research in advance, people !
In the past I have had great experiences at this establishment however, my last two visits I have had to send food back to be remade… I am not sure but, it could be due to crowds, and staffing shortages. All being said, I will visit at least once more to give them another chance to redeem themselves. Great drinks they are alway on point!
Cool spot. All the food was good. Had a Hasbrown waffle and added some veggies to the eggs. It was good! Everything was real bland but a touch of salt helped. Also had the lemon blueberry GLUTEN-FREE waffle! Lemon curd was super sour and the blueberry compote was on the sour side as well. But the waffle was perfect!
