Terrible food and even worse service. Pizza tasted like cardboard and had to wait 45 minutes for it (they weren’t busy). Our order of fries was not with our initial order and had to ask two times for it. When we brought up the long wait time the lady says, “it’s only been 18 minutes”. A bunch of BS based on my receipt but whatever. Was not offered any apology or refund and won’t be back.

If you're an aviator buff, and enjoy good food & drinks, The Proud Bird is definitely worth checking out. Amazing historical section highlighting historical aviators, including the Tuskegee Airmen and a scale replica of a Red Tail in front. Multiple scale models to check out in the yard. Bring your own chairs and/or blanket and set up on the grass turf to watch planes as they approach LAX. Good food selection of food and full bar. You can also reserve different rooms for events. If you're looking for a unique place to eat, drink and enjoy, be sure to check out The Proud Bird!
Cool place but do not order the brisket it was so disappointing because it was very little meat and mostly all fat and not edible! We spent over $100 for the family and hoped to enjoy some good brisket. Everything else was good.
Nice place to watch planes. Food is cafeteria style airport fare. Has an inhouse monitor for flights coming and going. Full bar.
Really fun day meeting friends.Open food court style space; we were directed to order everything at the bar (there's a bar ?), so no table service or anything. It's very cafeteria style, but- Great service, albeit limited, and honestly fantastic food.The kiddos ran around the playground and wiped themselves out. BRING SUNSCREEN.
We have been here before and both visits were good, but they need more staff. Order taking was a line and when you wanted a water glass after ordering $100 of food for a family…they point you to the back of the line. Nice play area and grass area for kids to play. Tried to report an electrical issue (wires sparking) and yes you guessed it…pointed to you to stand in line. Told them no problem if a kid gets hurt or fire and they sent someone right away. Most of the food good such as Bbq, salads and pizza. Hamburger not great, but fries good. Overall …fun place for families or after work to hang out with colleagues.
If you know the Proud Bord from back in the day, expect a better renewed experience. I love how aviation history is presented and the layout of the place flows. Great place for children.
Been wanting to go for a while and I absolutely loved it! The food was lovely, I loved all of the aviation history displays, and the view was spectacular! A must for any aviation fans!
Food is pretty good, everything is à la carte now but its reasonable. They no longer have the all you can eat option. They also have happy hour on Saturday's and Sunday's. Also a good place to take your kids to run around and also learn.
