It was ok. I had the xiao long bao and shrimp balls in curry for appetizer. They weren’t freshly made. They had brought them out the second I ordered them. Which is ok but they had some cold spots and just wasnt as good as I hoped. I had the roasted duck soup for my main entree and the duck was pretty good but overall it wasnt that flavorful.

I'll be honest ~ this is not a restaurant I would've thought would be a good choice for vegetarian me. But we were celebrating a birthday so to The Palace I went. I'll be honest again ~ I LOVE this place! Dim Sum was something I felt would be over my head, ordering-wise, so imagine my happiness when I discovered the joy of true family style dining. Everyone orders what they want, usually several dishes, take a portion and then off it goes on the huge lazy susan that takes up the center of the table for anyone else to share in. The feeling is so communal, the giving and sharing of food is so joyous. The Palace has delicious food (I loved my veggie dumplings and bean curd roll, especially). While not particularly elegant, the restaurant was spotless and the waitstaff excellent. I'm coming back and bringing a crowd!

Portion was advertised as being for 4….which divided up would have been per person: 1.5 wontons , 1 shrimp, 2 snap peas, a shred of chicken, and a larger shred of beef. Broth was fine, wontons were good, beef/chicken were classic velveted take-out style, shrimp were large but tasted oddly chemically and were not consumed. Overall, not worth $20. And for having “seafood” in their name I expected more from their shrimp. They said there would also be pork in the soup but perhaps they were referencing within the wonton. I suggest they write the size into the menu to prevent confusion (bowl in picture holds up to 32oz)

Dim Sum is a Chinese restaurant located in a small mall in West LA. They are fast in service, the restaurant is spacious, clean, and I was even surprised when I arrived at the restaurant and saw the quality, such as the crockery, tablecloths, in this aspect I was surprised. As for the food, I thought it was good. They offer a lunch special, for 13$, a meal, rice and the meat dish of your choice as you can see from the photos and of course, the ?. I think it's worth going to try it out.

We ordered porridge and it was delicious. My friend also ordered xiu mai and it was good. Good dessert too. Yummy ?

Amazing Dim See, a must try if you haven't been here. Quick service and great staff. Definitely get the sticky rice.

This restaurant has a good environment, very clean and tidy. The food is not only beautiful in appearance, but importantly, it tastes great and color. The method retains the original taste of the ingredients, fresh and refreshing. And there are many choices of dishes, the price is not high, suitable for taking the family with you

I was a dim sum virgin. And now, I am a material girl living in a dim sum world! This was a great experience. Not only does The Palace offer great selections of dim sum, but they also offer an eclectic menu of dishes I have never heard of. We tried the winter melon soup, which was good! But the true star of the show was the Chinese sausage roll and the shrimp shumi. Our dim sum came all together, steaming hot with a side of hot sauce and what seemed like mustard (might be horseradish) sauce. We dipped the rolls in soy sauce, And it was heaven.I highly recommend this place. The staff was nice and they provided recommendations when needed.

Love this place. Food is very tasty!
