Love this place - the food is delicious, the service is A+ and the setting is special. The blintzes are delish as is the fish chowder. It has a rich history with special owners and I'm so glad to see that it's continuing to run - and was quite busy when I was there for lunch.
Literally one of my most favorite, go-to places. For brunch,EVERYTHING IS AMAZING. For lunch/dinner, I love the tuna melt, the salmon, the lasagna…oh I’m getting hungry!!
My grandmother Bette Rae Young was one of Leah's best friends. At 11 my grandmother took me to lunch when Leah seen my grandmother walk in she was in the middle of a conversation but excused herself very quickly all while yelling Bette Rae with her arms wide open while my grandma did the same while yelling Leah!! Their embrace for one another was so heart warming I've strived for this energy in all my friendships since. The food was just as marvelous as Leah was, and the dessert was to die for I've never forgotten my experience. I wish to return one day very soon.
BEST WAITER SERVICE EVER!! Brendan was so pleasant and such a good conversationalist. The restaurant wasn’t crowded and he still stayed late to make sure we were done and didn’t rush us out at all. Delicious food!!! Amazing service!! If I could give it 10 stars I would!!

The best find in a long time ! Good so good at lunch returned for same impeccable food for dinner on same day ! In fairness leaving area next afternoon so no other opportunity to eat dinner and so….. lunch -fish and chips off the hook ! Delicious & hot !Dinner the spinach crepe mmm good , traditional stew -mmm good , appetizer cheese blintz ? Mmm good w strawberry purée ? Left here wishing I lived around corner ! It is also kosher and decor is super homey ! Entertaining Video of vibrant owner In little alcove. A must fo got done of best authentic ( & kosher ) cooking in a long time ! Even pre Covid !
Well an online find That looked like a must do ... Had good reviews & now know why !! The place is small & quaint ( we were there mid afternoon but probably needs reservations for evenings) it’s filled with Family photos & old videos of which you can find of the obviously vibrant owner displayed in a little alcove you can watch from most tables as well !Mmmmm good ! The authentic latke w spiced apples & Sour cream were delicious. And out hot & super crispy ! The Fish & chips came hot and crispy ! 3 nice pieces of perfectly cooked chunky white flakey fish with some of the best fries I’ve had in long time! Super crispy mmmm good!!!!! I highly recommend this great little find ...... you won’t be disappointed ! Oh and that awesome lady in the video that wears the best outfits in those photos & looks like quite the character turns out to be Steven Spielberg’s mom!! Kudos to mom !
Very slow kitchen. Small order is late by 15 minutes. Do not recommend this place for take out.
Was looking forward to a dairy dinner and was not disappointed. Service was excellent - waiter was so much fun and full of ideas of places and things for us to go see in the area. We had a spinach and artichoke dip to start which was so good. Highly recommend. Also had Fettuccini with mushrooms and added Salmon - my daughter and I shared and it was plenty - not heavy at all. Definitely make this a stop on your visit to the area.
