HUGE PORTIONS! GREAT FOOD! Good prices! This is a perfect hole in the wall. Grab a doggie bag because you’ll be munching on your delicious leftovers for a few days. I didn’t order French toast or Pancakes but just seeing the portions is crazy. The shrimp in my tacos were plump and juicy! Come here! I will be back! You will not be disappointed!
Wonderful views, 10/10 decor and great food! This cafe has arguably the best location of any restaurant in LA. You probably will have to wait 2 hours+ but it is worth it. Make sure to get the pancakes because the portions are huge. The staff are lovely too. I strongly recommend this place for brunch!
Great pancakes! They are huge. Large servings and good breakfast. The do their mimosa at $25 carafe. I wish they just sent the bottle of champagne along with different glasses of juices. I'm still trying to get that Granite City vine for mimosas. You will enjoy the view and food.
This was my family's 1st visit here & we loved it. The atmosphere is really nice & so are the views! The wait time wasn't unbearable, we were busy taking pictures near the coi fish ponds and chatting to make the time go by. Food was plentiful & very flavorful! I wish I'd gotten pics of the all the dishes my family had ordered. And those pancakes, omg! We saw people with 3 huge stacks bigger than the plates themselves! We had two kids with us who would never finish so much, but the restaurant definitely offers 1, 2, or 3 pancake stacks. It looked like they didn't give that memo to the other parties as they left 80% of their pancakes on the tables for trash, so I'm glad we asked. But I must say, our visit was really nice! Service & staff were great!
While the pancakes were delicious and enormous the wait to get a table is atrocious. If you show up early, as in when they open, and grab a table go for it. Otherwise expect a 1.5-2 hour wait on a Sunday morning. The French toast is a much more manageable size by the way.
Great breakfast spot with stunning views of the city. It is located in the same building as the Yamashiro Japanese restaurant. Food was excellent and the service was very good. Deducted 1 star since the server neglected to tell us the pancakes are ENORMOUS and cannot be finished by one person. We ordered several for our party not knowing this and it was a huge waste.
MAKE A RESERVATION! Do not try to come without a reservation. We came after a walk around the neighborhood and they had a 3hrs wait.The gardens are spectacular and the views are stunning - You can walk around and enjoy it without eating here.
Good French pressed coffee, and good but very oversized portions. We walked up the hill from Loews. Our service was good but can imagine them getting overwhelmed.

Everything was great. The view was amazing! The staff was great, very friendly. I would really recommend their pancakes and possibly french toast, they were great. I had a scramble and it was over cooked and under seasoned, but that could have been a one off. There is also valet, which costs $10 and don't be like me and don't bring cash. There is no ATM that I saw, so I was unable to tip. ?
