Was in town for an appointment and was craving a burger and shake. The 4oz was big enough to split along with the fries which were so good and fresh. I like being able to select how I wanted my burger cooked and it came out juicy. I do not recommend eating their burgers while driving unless it's traffic since there's a lot of clean up in a good way.
From 4 years ago to today, I can consistently give this burger joint a 5 stars every time I've eaten here. The Fix Burger has a wide selection of burgers to choose from, and their menu is so diverse to the point where there's something for everyone. The staff is always super friendly and chill, and the environment has been nothing but welcoming. During my most recent visit, I got the Fix Burger and can safely say that this is a quality burger. It's juicy, delicious, and the fries are just another plus. The prices can be a bit high, but this is generally expected for a restaurant in Silver Lake. I try to come back here whenever I'm in the area. Definitely recommend trying it out!
Tried out their Ono burger along with the garlic fries. The burger itself was a decent size and I definitely had trouble trying to fit it in my mouth. The taste is what you'd expect from a Hawaiian style burger and it was very juicy. You get to pick a dipping sauce for the fries, so we tried out the garlic basil mayo. I'd say the sauce is above average, but the fries were really great: crispy with just the right amount of seasoning. Overall, a little pricey, but I think the flavor is worth a try. There is also free parking in the back, though be careful as the drive in and out is narrow.
I order the regular burger and for the price you pay for it ($5.99) you don't get that much. I do understand that it's made from ground steak and real meat, but for the same price, I could get it at the Burger Pit and then some! However I must add that I do love the vegetables and condiments they put on the side for you.My boyfriend ordered the special they had today which was a bigger meat patty with cheese and a drink for $8.something! I would normally think that fries and a drink would automatically be included with the special but it wasn't. Overall for two burgers, a drink and a medium garlic wedges the total came out to $19.99.
Again, good burgers for a good price! .. and great deals when you can get your hands on a buy one get one coupon!We came here one time and it was nearly closing time and still the staff took their time to cook our food and wait for us until we finished. They even took a late customer right as we were leaving when they were already closed!
My review is specific to eat in fare of the basic frankfurter, steak burger, fries and shake. the shakes are thick and flavorful. The burger moist (but not dripping), actually ground steak, and a lot of it. Prepared without condiments, but there is a condiment bar with all the fixings. As a family we've been coming here a very long time and will continue to do so.
Decent burger, good condiment bar, greasy garlic fries are what you will get at this place. The restaurant needs some updating. It just feels more like a fast food place but with designer burger prices. Even though prices are very high for a burger meal, there needs to be some energy and atmosphere to go with it.
My fiance and I were on the hunt for good cheeseburgers one evening and we found The Fix Burger kind of by mistake.Great mistake! While the ambiance leaves a little to be desired, the food was good, made to order, and they have a fresh condiment bar with just about anything you could want to put on your burger.
Great place to go for a good burger and shake! Excellent condiment bar to add toppings to your burger, which isn't available at most burger places. Asked for some minor changes and they didn't happen, but it wasn't a big deal.
I ate here for the first time last week. I ordered a burger and garlic fries. The grilled onions that came with my burger weren't very good, the burger wasn't anything too special, but the garlic fries were amazing! they were more like garlic potato wedges though, but still great!
