The best Mexican bread ever in the US. Every single pastry is awesome, tasty, yummy, I glad my partner and I we accidentally found it by looking around for a pastry since then we can stopping going to" El Aguila " mexican bakery and we've been recommending everyone.....!

Authentic, overflowing with options. And they have tamales de elote! Hard to find. The cafe de holla is on point not too sweet not too bitter.
Tamales are so so delicious and juicy. Way better than el pavo in san gabriel. They are shorter but the tastes makes up for them.
As with any bakery, come early in the morning to get fresh pan dulce. Best pan dulce in the area hands down. Fresh juices as well. The only issue I have is when I bought a torta with chicken chipotle, the meat tasted as if it was a day old and merely heat up. It wasn’t very good. But the bread is ?
They' are always good but this time their service was very slow, only 2 people working on a rainy day and there was a long line. The should have more staff working on the weekends. Overall, they are great!

Bakery has been there for years. Tamales are ok, champurrado ok, sweet bread yummy.
They have a good selection of breads They always seem busy. 10:30 am, 12/22 waited 20 minutes. There food has never disappointed me
Some of the best Pan Mexicano in NELA. Masa prepared for tamales is one of the best in the city. You have to call in your order at least a week before christmas so they have it ready for you, otherwise you have a long wait in line.
