First meal after a cross-country flight and it really hit the spot. Steak was tender, salad was fresh and rice was just right. All that for under $20. And the wait time was under 5 mins. The service was just as good as the cashier greeted me with a kind smile and was very patient for someone who was quite groggy and tired after traveling for the day. Highly recommended!
I absolutely loved my lunch here! Had the salmon plate with seasonal veggies (zucchini, green beans and button mushrooms) and baby green spinach with the mist yummy vinaigrette with slivered almonds and goat cheese. The salmon was perfectly cooked and savory. The green tea was refreshing as well. Staff were friendly and prompt, restaurant was clean and prices were reasonable for the fresh delicious food they are serving up. Wish I had a tender greens closer to home!
Never dissatisfied at tender greens. The perfect post workout whole food meal.
My wife and I go to Tender Greens all the time, our favorites Downtown San Diego, Del Mar and Pasadena. This one, I'll pass on going forward. I ordered Pacific Bowl with grilled albacore tuna, it was to be ready at 12:10. I got my food at 12:20 and headed back to the office. Got there only to find the complete lack of napkins or utensils and had to search the office. The food itself: salad was swimming in an, almost bitter, dressing, the tuna had what could be called a 'salt crust' with spice and I chomped down on four bone fragments that my aging teeth did not enjoy. Not sure what's going on there but they need help.
Most ridiculous Tender Greens location! Placed a order online for pickup - got to restaurant and they claim they had no record of the order. Showed the receipt and order confirmation via phone and they still act as if the order was never placed. Manager was beyond unprofessional and had terrible customer service skills. 40 minutes later they decided to make the order after having to repeatedly prove that I placed the order online. Waste of time
Im dissatisfied with my meal , i order grilled chipotle bbq chicken plate . Extremely bland on top of that my butter bread isn’t on my plate , Mash Potatoes were dry not buttery . In addition to that my online order wait time was 45mins ! Get it together Tender Greens, tender greens isn’t what it once was !!!
Ordered Postmates for a steak and veggies plate and I literally got two pieces of broccolini, two small mushrooms, and two small pieces of squash. W three small pieces of steak.
The food was delicious and exactly what I needed after running a marathon. The staff were nice and attentive. They got rid of empty plates almost as soon as I emptied them. And my free refill was immediately filled before I even ask3d for it. The restaurant was also very clean both inside and in the outdoor seating area.I had the tomato soup and the salmon plate with arugula and brown rice.
There were six bites of chicken in the salad. Not worth the drive, not worth the $13.00.
Two things that really affected my rating. One the steak was overcooked as it is supposed to be med rare and the Tabouli was forgettable. Much different than the one in Santa Monica. The Kale salad also changed and not for the better. Ok meal but left me wanting more.
