We were looking for a special place for a short vacation and picked the Hotel Roosevelt for its location and based on good reviews. This place did not disappoint! We enjoyed ourselves so much! The room was very nice but the best part was the staff! Very friendly and helpful.

What a hotel! I love staying here - and on my last stay I have to say a huge thank you to Bill Paz and his security team who dealt with a medical emergency in the middle of the night with kindness and went above and beyond to resolve it. A wonderful hotel with incredible service!

I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. From making the reservation to arriving at the hotel to checking in to staying to hanging out poolside to dining to enjoying the whole property. I have not one thing that I would want to change. The reservation agent was so patient and helpful and accommodating. The folks managing the poolside bar and food and daybeds were wonderful. The drinks and food at all of the bars and restaurants were delicious. The Nancy Silverton Pastry pop up in the lobby was a huge hit with everyone. The pool was beautiful and I loved the rotating DJs and floaties. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I can't wait to stay here again.

We just returned from a wonderful stay at the Hollywood Roosevelt. We arrived in a rental car and used valet parking. The staff at the valet entrance were wonderful. Very professional, polite, and welcoming. We checked in at the front desk and had great service from Tony. He noticed that it was my husband's birthday and gave us vouchers for drinks at one of the many bars onsite. He also stated that they had sent a bottle of (complimentary) wine to our room to help celebrate. Thanks to Tiffany for making this happen. What a wonderful welcome! We stayed in a Cabana Balcony room, 209. It was on the second floor and overlooked the pool area. The room had a large tiled bathroom. We also had a patio area that was semi-private. We enjoyed the bottle of wine on the patio listening to music from the pool area on our first night. We spent a few hours poolside and enjoyed great service from staff. Very attentive with drink orders and checking on our needs. The pool was busy but not unreasonable. It was a fun day. We attended a Shindig Comedy Show in the Roosevelt Theater. Guests have access to discount tickets. Don't be afraid to ask if you don't receive a text telling you about the daily events. The theater was such a neat space to see a show. We enjoyed a late dinner at 25 Degrees. Food was very tasty. We also had pastries from Nancy Silverton, from the Barish restaurant, on Saturday morning in the Lounge area. Very well done. Overall, the hotel felt welcoming, relaxing, and left us feeling like we were living in the Mad Men era. We loved everything about our stay and highly recommend this property. The staff was ever present with helpful attitudes. Very pleasantly surprised and we will hold other properties to this standard. We cannot wait to go back! This will be an annual trip, if not sooner! Thanks for an amazing weekend, HR.

What a great Hotel! Really fun place to stay. Staff is outstanding (from valet people to the concierge and from front desk to servers in restaurant). We were welcomed by a extremely helpful big guy (forgot his name) at the reception when we arrived. The building is very beautiful too, it breathes history. Beautiful rooms and the lobby and restaurant are also terrific. Pool is large enough and - contrary to what we have experienced elsewhere in the us (Florida) - it is cool and refreshing. The pool area has a relaxed vibe. Food was also good, although prices are a bit steep. They have a separate burger joint which serves excellent burgers, also meat free. We would definitely come back to the place. Hopefully it remains as it is.

Excellent hotel the interior was lovely. The room was also lovely. The staff were excellent especially the pool staff who were well organised and provided excellent service with allocating the beds and the covers and towels. Food around the pool was good and the breakfast at 25 cents was excellent. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and had a wonderful time! The pool was relaxing and we ate on site at The Barish which was delicious. Had drinks in the lobby bar and late night at The Spare Room. A fabulous hotel with very kind and attentive staff.

I spent two whole days poolside with my friends, and I wish I could have stayed longer. Simply paradise! The service, food, cocktails, pool floaties, and fun environment made the experience great. Thanks to my friend Eric for the rec!

Mixed bag here. The location is great if you want to see the hellscape that is Hollywood Blvd. And their pool is wonderful on a hot LA day, but they have a DJ playing most of the time so if you want to relax, maybe not be the best spot. The rooms are very clean. Decore is rather odd. Don't know if they were going for the Hollywood look, the 30s look, or the Pottery Barn look. But the combined effort didn't work. No convenient outlets near the bed. Poor reading lights.

Best place in Hollywood for a pool day. Get there early by 10am for a place to lay out. Poolside food and drinks. Mostly adults. A few children. Walk to manna chinese etc very touristy area. Review wants 200 characters. Bla bla bla. Haha.
