Beautiful and large interior space. Narrow street and hectic valet parking situation outside. Food was average to fair and very expensive, $340 for dinner for two. Clientele was not very classy, a lot of large tables of people yelling and laughing loudly. Very loud music. I wonât be going back.
Great atmosphere, and food. But... Server was asked how big and entree was and it was twice as large as she stated. Also made a comment about us not ordering enough food. We had more than enough food and a bunch leftover. Ordered 4 entrees and 2 appetizer/sides. 4 people spent 250 with tip and were out in 1 hour, so not like we came in and spend 100 and stayed 2 hours. It's the deception that rubs me the wrong way. Daughter also had an allergic reaction to gluten when we were specifically told they would make sure they used gluten free soy sauce. Other than that, the service was prompt and the food was very good. Kudos to the kitchen staff, but waitstaff needs some training and manners.
celebrated with 10 people and had a great experience. Great Cocktails and food and a fantastic ambiance. Well price for the quality of food and it has a good perceived value. I would highly recommend this for any kind of celebration. The staff was friendly and professional.
Food took a long time to come around. I took my 14 year old who was very excited and hungry to attend Tao for the first time. He kept asking when the food was going to get there and I felt extremely bad for him. Should probably get food out a little quicker especially when itâs only a party of 2. Also, the back tables are on top of each other and I can hear ðð¼ peoples conversations directly next to me. Need to consider creating a little more space between tables considering this is a high end restaurant.
Interesting layout... definitely a positive, medium energy vibe. Noise level is up there so not the first choice for a romantic dinner date. The satay of chilean sea bass is awesome...do not pass this up! The miso glazed cod was also delish. Cocktails were refreshing. Service was great.
My girlfriend and I had a great time yesterday celebrating our anniversary our waiter was fast and great host he did make us sure we donât needed anything else anytime And the dessert was on them Very high recommend

Beautiful restaurant. Food was great. Service was amazing. Prices were expensive but for Hollywood itâs normal. I just feel like the quality of the crowd was very low, unfortunately. I felt like I was at a low class night club. This place is too beautiful To have these types of people. There were girls taking pictures naked in the bathroom with no shame and much more. This is nothing that the restaurant can control. However, for this reason I wonât be coming back.
