This is my favorite Takoyaki and one of my favorite stalls at 626 Night Market! They cook them fresh in front of you and the owner/recipes are from Osaka so your getting the real deal. Will definitely check out their Little Tokyo spot next time I'm at Japanese Village.
Pretty good takoyaki! I usually get it when I'm waiting for chinchikurin (the connected okonomiyaki place). My favorite flavors are mentaiko and parmesan truffle. The other flavors are good too though. I recommend getting the sampler to try the different flavors.
Crowded during AX! Better to make reservations before arriving. It took 30-40 minutes for just myself for a barseat!
Do you like your takoyaki mushy? Then this is the place for you. Flavor was literally the same as any other place, and for some reason even though it was freshly made in front of us, everything was so...mushy.....There wasn't even a rush because there was no line at the time.As a local I should've known better than to fall for this tourist trap.
I got the fried karaage chicken and a squid, shrimp and pork Okonomiyaki while I was there and it was AMAZING! You really do get what you pay for! The sause drizzled on the egg and topped with seasoned shrimp and squid tasted great! I also found the ramen to be great as well, hidden and tucket at the bottom of the bowl XD
A great snack if you’re visiting Little Tokyo!
Some of the best takoyaki I've ever had. Was there shortly after they opened so there was a long wait time, but other than that it was a great experience. Will definitely go back and try more flavors
My daughter and I had the garlic Parmesan takoyaki they were so soft and excellent
This was my first time eating takoyaki and I was highly disappointed. The inside was wet and runny and the flavor combinations didn’t pair well together. The octopus that was inside was very small and there was practically no quality control as there were varying amounts of each ingredient with every bite. Not to mention the overall product being slightly overpriced, definitely a one time experience and I don’t recommend anyone else to pay this place a visit.
The takoyaki was crispy on the outside and beautifully soft on the inside. We tried the original and ponzu versions. Both were delicious, but the ponzu one was my favorite.
