Followed TripAdvisor recommendations and you have to since the place is remote from the restaurant area south of Venice beach near the marina but also close from LAX. Our last day in the country after 20 days of too many burgers and Mexican food. This is a place if you like seafood all is good and fresh. Large selection. Fair price. Do not hesitate
Awesome neighborhood find. Great menu selection and some great summer specials. Friendly service a huge bonus. Walk down to Gingers Divine Ice Cream for dessert for the win!
Overpriced! $35 for a dozen oysters $30 for fish and chips.The oysters weren't any different from restaurants where a dozen oysters are $20 at most.The fish and chips, 3-4 chunks of cod with a basket full of steak fries.The staff at least on the day I went were unattentive and seemed ready to go home.
This is a great new spot in Mar Vista. The Tuna Poke bowl was so good. Really fresh and wasn’t overcrowded or covered in Mayo or sauce. The fish and chips were good too. Not too much breading on the fish which is always better. Excited to go back for their Wednesday Window Special.
Only beer and wine but you will enjoy every bite of your food while you enjoy the outdoor patio

We had lunch there and we ordered the Peruvian ceviche which was delicious and I ordered mussels with white wine and my partner ordered fish, his food was delicious; mine to be honest was tasteless and little disappointed. But overall it was good. It is little pricey so will probably go back for a nice dinner instead of lunch.. enjoy
Such great food. One of our favorite local restaurants. Fish taco, salmon, and lamb burger all delicious. Great outdoor seating.
Tangaroa has excellent service and the food is delicious.The only downside is the prices are very high…even for the area. Would go back again for a happy hour I think.
