I love their super burrito al pastor! It is a delicacy! This place is usually pretty busy but with good reason. Whenever I come to LA I have to stop by for my burrito.The cheesecake was really really good! It was more of a home made texture and definitely had a different taste to it than the typical American cheesecake. Till next time
Excellent place! Service staff are Rockstars! Friendly, quick service. Location is good too. Menu offering is excellent.I was pleasantly surprised with their cabeza tacos, they were really good. Salsas and additional items are good, cleanly and individually wrapped. (Some might like this and others prefer the regular additional bar but I believe this was adapted to deal with covid safety. )Place is pristine clean, well lit, plenty parking and excellent value and flavors.
havent been to Gavilan in awhile i got 2 tacos 1 asada 1 pastor.. got my nephew1 asada burrito & med horch $20... i didnt like the meat it was fatty ? the cashier was spaced out n not paying attn.. the guys giving u the food were more pleasant, but i didnt see 1 person cleaning that place ?♀️ not going back to that 1
Over hyped.... food was mediocre and staff was very rude. It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, however, this place has earned that today. I guess this place is only good for late night munchies.....

So far, so good. My first time and tried the regular carne asada burrito. Very good. Plenty of tasty condiments(sauces, pinto beans, grilled jalapenos, etc.) Going back for the SUPER BURRITO.
Solid place. Definitely competes with king taco. I can see why they've been building more of these around.Great agua frescas! Love the tamarind! Little too sweet for my taste though.Carne Asada breaks or makes it for me at any taco place. These guys definitely work to keep me coming back. Good Carne will always make me come back. I mean that's what you're looking for right?Reasonably priced and quick service even with a line. Definitely coming back.
The super burrito is great. Also the sopes and nachos are really good. Everything js fresh and made in front of you. If it's busy service might be a little slow.
Tacos el gavilan is the best taco place I’ve had, and I’ve eaten alot. I always want to come here. Tacos are 1.50 on Tuesdays. What a deal, and they always have options for keto or paleo diets.
