I love this coffee shop! Super friendly baristas and amazing coffee creations - love their miel and vanilla latte! ?% recommend
I got coffee from here for the first time a few weeks ago and it absolutely blew my mind so today I went in and ordered the same thing and it was pretty bad. Maybe it was just an off day or a different barista but there was something very very off about the coffee. I'm not sure if the milk was bad or the coffee itself was burnt but the drink was overwhelmingly acidic and sour. I even get extra flavoring for sweetness but I couldn't taste a hint of any creamy caramel or vanilla bean. I was in a rush and couldn't go back in so I tried to call but the phone went to voice mail. Not sure if I will ever give it a retry but I'm pretty saddened with my experience this time around.

Swork Coffee is not only a great place for good quality coffee but also for a very private backyard that is almost not seen from anywhere. One should know or accidentally notice a very narrow alley leading to a secluded area that is the best place in shade to enjoy your drink with family or close friends on a hot weather.
What I love: great coffee, friendly staff, modern indoor environment, afternoon shade outdoor. Outdoor tables spread out for privacy.What I wish for: more food options, outdoor outlets, bigger outdoor tables
Decide to meet a friend at this coffee spot in Eagle Rock and it is clearly, most probably, the busiest and most popular coffee shop in Eagle Rock! It was busy but there is plenty of seating on the inside and the outside. I'll be on this is fantastic, exactly what you would like for a high-end coffee shop. I had a dark velvet mocha and it was perfectly not sweet and also the avocado toast which tied me over for breakfast and lunch! Definitely going to make this a frequent place to go when I need to write, catch up on a little work, or have a coaching session. Also, the staff was fantastic, polite and helpful.
I'm not a coffee drinker but my husband swears by their coffee!What I love best about Swork is that the owner, Patricia, was a pioneer Eagle Rock merchant, investing in the community before it was "hot." She poured her heart & multiple talents & genius in its creation & here it is 2 decades later, still a neighborhood favorite. Thank you!!!!
I was pretty excited to try Swork, located on Colorado and ER Blvd, it’s catchy name and modern decor successfully lured me in. It’s a comfortable joint and one of the only cafes in Eagle rock that accommodate for many a laptop, for there are plugs and seats in every corner. The baristas and service were top notch, I was greeted with smiles and my espresso macchiato was served up in several minutes. Unfortunately for me, the coffee beans they use are very bitter and acidic, and the milk was a bit over steamed, as an espresso lover, I can’t.It’s a shame to rate this place any lower than 5 stars because if I was judging on everything BUT the coffee, it would’ve been.
Loved it and happy that we discovered it:-Variety of Lattes different from typical lattes found elsewhere, we tried velvet mocha and swiss latte and both were really great.-Nice atmosphere and cozy place, and clean-Friendly peopleWill defenitely go again
