Delicious! love the spicy tuna bowl with forbidden rice + seaweed salad. Incredible flavor ✨
First and foremost, I’ve been a fan of Sweetfin and have come to this location for several years. Typically I swing by after an evening workout down the street for a protein burst. The food is always 5/5. Location is great and there’s always ample parking. I love that you can customize your bowls and I also like that they have special meals featuring select chefs, several who have been on Top Chef. I’m a huge fan of Top Chef.I’m giving this place 2/5 stars because of the service I received this evening. Service was definitely 0/5. I was excited coming in to make a takeout order as I just finished a workout and was craving poke. I came in and said, “Good evening! Can I…” and then heard one of the two guys making the poke bowls imitate what I said verbally with a high pitched voice, clearly mocking or making fun of me for my voice. I immediately stopped talking, looked at the two guys, and they immediately stood there cold silent. It was obvious I caught them making fun of me. At this point, I felt so uncomfortable and wasn’t sure if I should move forward with ordering but conflicted because I was so hungry from doing a long workout and had been craving their poke. I ordered anyway as I was so hungry and as they made the food, I started questioning myself, “should I have ordered?! What if they’re doing something to my bowl?!”I left home with the food and decided to not eat it. I questioned whether or not they did something to my food.I don’t plan to come to this location again as I clearly felt unwelcome. Patrons come to a restaurant to order and enjoy good food. Not come in and get made fun of.
Two times I made an order I didn't get fork/knife nor sauses, even though I called this branch and especially asked for it!!The big bowl is actually pretty small and food quality was way below average.Paid 30$ and still stayed hungry
Sweetfin is a lovely place on Sunset Blvd. in Silverlake. It serves up super healthy poke and bowls. They have tuna bowls, tofu and great protein bowls. Every thing is super fresh and tastes great. I parked on the street with ease, I am not sure if they have a lot. We went for lunch and had a great meal. The exterior and interior is pretty and ever so clean. You can eat indoors or out. The service is so nice. They can help guide you to something you will love and they will make a bowl to order--sort of make your own--but it really is not needed because their menu has something for everyone. We had a Classic Sweetbox, which has salmon, citrus kale, spicy tuna -yes, we had both- and a great rice and a treat. We were so happy. We also tried The Brain Booster Bowl, which has salmon and tofu along with kale and other tasty items. It was all great and we will be back. You will love it.
Great food but absolutely awful customer service when you order a delivery. There is no initial way of tracking your order and no way to contact the restaurant. I waited an hour over the estimated delivery time (which was 20 minutes over the original estimate) and then the guy was on a bike. Restaurant eventually offered me a partial credit and kept telling me it had been picked up when it hadn’t. This is a rant because I’m So angry and disappointed!
Such a fun and fresh spot! If you are looking for a light and delicious lunch or dinner in LA...this is a great choice! I love to come during the day when the sun is shining and you can sit out on the patio and enjoy eating in the sunshine! They have an option to customize your bowl to make it whatever you want! The ingredients are so fresh. This is a must try!
I have gone here twice to order and both times they do not have someone on register. The two employees they have on don’t speak English, other than “online only”. Don’t have a register and counter if you only accept online orders? Also - I really hope you’re taking care of the two employees that have to uncomfortably explain to every guest they can’t take their order.
The guy taking the order and also making the orders was very monotone. The bowls I ordered had no flavor and the rice was stiff as well. The tuna was also very chewy. I’ve bought poke bowls from other places and this one is by far the worst. First and last time I ever buy from this location.
Another company that gentrifies a neighborhood and doesn’t service the community. Discriminates against the unbanked for convenience and would rather support banks/credit cards than serve their customers. Will not go back until they accept cash again.
A good spot for poke bowls when I want to make at least a moderately healthy choice. The online ordering on their site also makes it so easy!
