Sent cupcakes to a dear friend who lives in LA and was so happy they could help me make a surprise birthday delivery possible. The delivery driver had to check in with me because of the difficult address but she was kind and perseverant and she made it happen!I am told the vegan cupcakes were delish- thank you!
Sweet E's Bake Shop - Best quailty cake shop in California. I raelly love this shop cake. However, the ancient Egyptians are thought to have created the first cake. Egyptians often made honey-sweetened dessert breads, which were likely the earliest version of cakes.
I have only the highest praise for Sweet E’s bake shop. For the past several years I have ordered cakes, cupcakes and cookies from them, personalized for a variety of occasions. They have done cookies and cupcakes with sports team logos, and most recently a sheet cake with a photo that I submitted embedded in the frosting. The staff members are friendly and helpful, the website is easy to navigate and use, the delivery service is reliable, and most importantly the confections are beautiful and extremely delicious. I have placed all of my orders by phone or web and have been absolutely delighted each and every time. Highly recommend!!
I saw this place while driving back to work. I have been looking for another goto bakery, because my favorite place to go is far from where I currently live. I looked online and I was impressed with what I saw. So I decided to place an order. One thing I can say is this place is pricey. While the presentation was nice, the taste of the cake was lacking and dry. Everyone's taste is different, eventhough I do not recommend this place try it out for yourself.
I ordered a strawberry shortcake online which was a convenient and an easy transaction. The presentation was beautiful and the cake was a hit. The cake was full of flavor and moist and the icing wasn't too sweet. However, there weren't enough strawberries, especially for the additional charge! The overall experience would've been a five unfortunately the cake didn't hold up well, it was caving to one side and then we cut it, it collapsed. Despite this, I will be placing future orders and recommend this place!
A Sweet experience...I needed to turn to Sweet E's at the last minute, as I was thwarted from placing an order with Georgetown Cupcake. I located Sweet E's by Googling for "cupcakes delivery Los Angeles." I actually decided to go with the Marshmallow Bliss Bars, because I only saw two cupcake flavors.I was able to use the website to choose my item for delivery within a short time frame. I had no problems using the shopping cart feature, or in entering my delivery address. I placed my order, and readily received confirmations and updates from the system about my pending delivery. At the appointed time, they delivered! This was all done with no dependence on customer service or speaking to any person. Their website works perfectly. I am into human centered design, so websites that function as expected are near and dear to my heart.Big Recommend!!!
This place is really NOT good. I ordered a cake for my friend and this is how it was delivered. It’s lopsided and the flowers are wilted. See picture. I sent an email about this and no one ever replied. For the amount you are paying this is NOT acceptable. Do not recommend this scam cake business to anyone. The cakes look perfect online and does not come out the same in person. Look elsewhere to celebrate with your loved ones.
One of the best bake shops I've ever ordered a cake from. It was the whole package. The customer service was on point, the cake tasted amazing, delivery was on time, and the presentation was amazing. It's so hard to find a business with good service nowadays. I bought the Champagne Rose Cake for my friend's bday and she loooved it! Thank you Sweet E's for making my friend's bday so special. <3
The macaroons are amazing!! One of the best I’ve ever had. They are so colorful and pretty looking. Will definitely be back. Also allergy friendly and kosher
Ordered 272 dollars worth of Christmas cakes with thorough instructions on delivery. Got acknowledgement email from them on the delivery and it said they got my instructions . Cakes delivered to wrong address. Called them multiple times, no help, no resolution, no sorries. Cakes ruined and my money and time is wasted . Very bad experience.
