This is hands-down the BEST chicken place I have been to (namely, chicken and waffles). I definitely want to come here again when I visit LA. Also, the staff was so friendly and helpful! Thanks for the awesome experience. The food was so good, I almost forgot to take pictures lol

If I could give a place 6 stars this would be it! There's so much to say about this establishment and I'll do my best giving it it's proper credit. In the age of masks and vaccinations, Sweet Chick made it very easy to avoid contact with their staff for safety concerns and I was grateful for this updated way of ordering. The way they do things here is by using a QR code to order, pay & tip all before receiving the food and all the host or server does is bring the food and beverages. There's no need for frequent contact with the server, and this made me feel safer even though I'm vaccinated, it was the thought of a collective safety that made this experience that much better. Now what I ordered was the Crispy Chicken Salad (LA) and a Ginger Ale beverage. The salad was well plated and presented very well. The clash of arugula with the fried chicken, acidity of the tomatoes and the cool ranch dressing far exceeded my expectations. I felt as though the salad occupied its own space in the salad archives. To top it all off the avocados were drizzled with a coarse salt that made them pop with flavor. I was a bit skeptical about ordering the salad at a place where the chicken sandwiches and waffles are among the more popular items but its safe to say I'll be ordering the Crispy Chicken Salad (LA) each time I visit Sweet Chick. Bravo!

I’ve been here 5-6 times. It’s a good place to eat after shopping in the area.In general food is really good, I love waffles and Mac&cheese, but half of the times chicken came overcooked and the portions size also vary. Not a bad experience, but they can do much better.

Amazing, love this place. First time I went was during covid so the inside was closer, got to go again and it had the coolest inside atmosphere. Will go again.

Classic Southern brunch options with great local twists. Process was super easy finding a table (seat yourself without waiting for hosts or waiters), ordering online, and having food brought straight to you. Cocktails hit the stop and the fried chicken with anything is a hit!

This place is the best! Amazing chicken & waffles. I can't wait to eat them again! Run to a tee by Chip Cruz and his wife. They really care about the restaurant and are super welcoming to the community. All the food is delicious! Definitely give this place a try!

Ugh I really want to give this place 5 stars but there’s no real wait staff available. Your seated and the tables have a QR code. If you have questions about the menu you have to get someone’s attention, no one checks in. When you place your order you have to be sure that you get an email to confirm that your order went through, its a little glitchy especially if they’re sold out of an item. The chicken was really good!!! I don’t say that often, I liked the waffles but not the syrup, too much vanilla flavor and it offsets the chicken flavor. Also you don’t know what part of the chicken you’ll be getting. They use dark and white meat, make a request if you have a preference. Their cocktails are good too, I think I had 2 tequila margaritas. I’m definitely coming back, now that I understand the process.

Loved this chicken spot. The Honey Garlic chicken is something you can't get anywhere else and is delicious. Their Brussels sprouts were surprisingly some of the best we've had. It has been a trendy menu item for the past few years and we had been getting tired of them, but sweet chick did them right. Thought the jalapeno hush puppies could use a bit more flavor and the regular waffle had a hint of citrus in it, which wasn't my thing, but loved the bacon cheddar waffle. Would definitely go back.

Fried chicken spot with boneless and bone-in options. Came here with a friend on a Tuesday night around 7:30pm. Indoor and outdoor dining is available. They do serve alcohol. Delivery/takeout is also available. There’s no table service but you can scan the QR code at the table or order at the bar. Metered street parking. Credit cards are accepted. The employee who helped us was really nice and even went out of his way to get the appropriate container for our leftover mac & cheese so that it wouldn’t leak in our leftovers box. The boneless chicken was incredibly crispy and we got the original style, which came with a side of ranch and ketchup. The fries are crinkle-cut style and were nicely seasoned. The spicy chicken honey biscuit wasn’t sweet or particularly spicy, but the texture was on point. The mac & cheese came with little crunchies on top and it was quite hearty even as a side dish. It’s a nice spot to grab some fried chicken in cool digs.

Super cool intimate ambience, especially in the evening✧Food is amazing./will most definitely be coming back!♡
