Small place serves excellent roles, fish is fresh and there is a lot of flavours. Best to get there at opening time to avoid a lineup
The sushi is delicious and fresh. The presentation is not the fanciest, yet the place is always busy and delivers good food.
I love sushi fumi!! The best ♥️ every bite is magical
Our hotel was near the Sushi Fumi and so we decided to try it, as it was within walking distance. It is a small, and very plain, restaurant. We ate at the sushi bar and had a very pleasant sushi chef. While the sushi was good, it was not anything out of the ordinary, and the pieces of sushi were definitely on the small side. This appears to be a popular neighborhood restaurant, and when we left there were quite a few people outside waiting. This might explain why we were made to feel rather rushed during dinner. This is definitely not a restaurant where you can linger over dinner. We put this restaurant in our "okay" category.
Probably the best sushi restaurant in LA. Fresh and delicious!Service was very good, the food came out super fast.Highly recommended ?
Great quality. Nice vibe. Get there early so you don't have to wait
The sushi is amazing but the wait is ridiculous. They seem a bit unorganized as well. The good thing about the wait is that they will give you a call when it’s your turn so you don’t have to hang out. The eggplant dish is also a must have!
small joint - no reservation - excellent quality sushi - basic but good decor
Won’t accept us inside with a service dog even when there is a sign for service dogs on the door.We had already waited outside for 30m for the place to open so we finally just agreed to eat outside. then, we for 15m (we were the first ones there) and they didn’t bring us water or a pen to order food.
This place was not worth my lunch break. The portions of sushi were small and thrown together. I understand we went during a lunch rush but the quality should always be the same. Also we were there for an hour and the food took forever to arrive... We had only ordered 3 rolls. Other people around us were also not happy with the food taking so long to arrive. I have had MUCH better sushi in Alhambra and Downey for bigger portions, better flavor and MUCH cheaper. The service was okay but our server disappeared for like 20min. It took us a while to flag someone down so we could pay and leave. Now I'm going back to work hungry and late.
