Probably the best Tattoo shop I've been to. Stanley was most excellent in understanding the design I wanted, but also firm enough to suggest a few things about placement & position to really let the art work shine. I was there for a total of 5 hours start to finish. The tattoo shop area is partitioned from the coffee shop & the smell from the occasional brew was something I wasn't expecting to LOVE so much, while getting drilled for 4 hours. Clean Bathroom. Really cool staff. It was moderately busy with other ink customers, whom all seemed to love both their finished pieces & artists. Parking right in front in meters is easy & they have 2 spots reserved for them, but I was able to grab a meter just north of that, steps from the door. Will definitely return to this hidden gem for future work, or maybe just coffee?Service: Tattoos
I got tattooed by Alexis and had an amazing time! I came in with 80% of a plan and she helped me put the finishing touches on and was super attentive to making sure it was exactly what I wanted. Throughout the tattoo she explained what she was doing and gave thorough aftercare instructions. The space itself is so charming and cozy. I will definitely be back to Supersweet!Service: Tattoos

Could not speak any more highly of my experience here!!!! Amy was a dream to work with both over email (as I was coming out of state for some tattoos) and in person. The shop is the cutest place I’ve ever seen and everyone was so sweet from start to finish. I got a half sleeve and two other custom tattoos (that she created for me ON THE SPOT — the sheer talent is amazing). I had scheduled a 3 hr slot with her but she offered to go over time to finish everything I’d asked for and was so nice about it all. I had incredible conversation with her and I have never felt more comfortable in my life. The 3.5 hrs flew by and the tattoos were done SO WELL; it’s like she peeked into my brain to see what I wanted and recreated it. I wish I lived locally just so I could go back again and again. My experience here was stellar from start to finish. The staff was cheerful, welcoming, and helpful, and the artist who did my tattoo was not only communicative and thorough in helping with my design, but flawless in their laser-precise execution (for clarity, that’s just an adjective; they did not use any lasers). The atmosphere in the shop is very calming and immaculately clean. The coffee was pretty darn good, too. I got my tattoo here to commemorate my first trip to LA, and I strongly recommend this place to anyone inside or outside of LA who is looking for a great tattoo experience.
i absolutely recommend anyone to this shop whether it’s your first tattoo or if you’re a veteran. they are mainly appointment-based so be mindful of that, but they are definitely LGBTQ+ friendly; they ask for your preferred name and pronouns when you book your appointment on their website. and coffee!! their coffee is really good quality as well as their staff, i had an amazing experience at Supersweet with Julia (barista) and Carla (tattoo apprentice) but everyone there seemed super nice and friendly! PARKING IS ON THE STREET OR METERED, keep that in mind because i got towed at the lot next door.. ?
I had such an amazing experience getting tattooed by Erin! Would absolutely recommend to anyone that is looking to get a tattoo or just wants to get a cup of coffee. The shop is so cute and inviting and has great music.
In a city where tattoo parlors are ubiquitous, Supersweet’s knowledgeable and talented crew, coupled with reliably delicious caffeinated beverages, sets it apart from the rest. I’d also be remiss if I didn’t give Misfit a shoutout - she’s given me some of my favorite tattoos and is wildly talented. Check ‘em out!
Had a fantastic experience with artist, Amy. I loved the design Amy drew up from a very basic description I gave, and I didn’t have her change a thing. She did some very fine line floral work that clearly demonstrates her skillset. I also loved talking to her and getting to know her. Now, tattoo is almost completely healed, and I am in love with it.
