Best black coffee so far in SoCal

Starbucks has way better service than what I experienced. Staff were standoffish. I happened to order the same drink as the guy behind me; both drinks came out at the same time, and I had to figure out whether that was someone else’s order or for me. Nitro cold brew was meh, especially for the price. Bathroom had no soap.
Like most, I saw the fruity pebble covered macaroon ice-cream sandwich and I had to try it and take some pics for my Instagram. We went in for 20 min just to try it out and it did not disappoint. There is parking in the back as well. Small space but a good stop. the ice-cream sandwich was huge so my husband, mother, and I shared it. We also the had the cookies and we even bought some to snack on later.
My favorite thing to do if ever I had a bad day is to drink coffee. When I found out about this place, it was like a bad day reliever. I always come here to drink coffee every time since it fits on my taste bud. Their coffee has such rich, smooth brews and their food tastes amazing too!
We ate here 2 times. Each time we sat outside and had a delicious breakfast each time. Service was great and the food was delicious. I had a Greek Omelette and had the Eggs Benedict-both were fantastic. Great service and everyone was working...
Excellent coffee at very fair prices. Loved that it is in DTLA off of Santa Fe and 7th. Parking may be a little challenge and I mean little because there really are no problems. Simply park on the street and walk up to the place. It's really so worth the trip.
Drove by this place so many times...finally had the chance to try it out. Interesting interior...feels somewhat cluttered and looks like someone's garage with a bunch of antique stuff. I wouldn't stay here to study or anything because I would feel claustrophobic.
Great place to grab coffee and get some work done. Their food is kinda pricey for a coffee shop but everything I've tried is delicious which makes me more willing to pay the steeper prices. I think people actually come here as a brunch destination rather than just a coffee shop. They have plenty of space, though it does fill up sometimes. I love the light and decor, definitely one of my favorite coffee shops.
